Zing. Very true, though I'll admit it was interesting to go through and read some of the comments. But yeah, this isn't news.

If I remember reading some random article about either Forza 3 or GT5's damage system correctly, I think game developers are limited by car manufacturers about how realistic the damage can be. Keep in mind that if X car company has horrible safety ratings and some game comes along and simulates that perfectly next to the realistic damage of other cars, it's obviously going to make them look bad. I think the toned-down damage systems in both games may be a legal thing more than anything else...

They should've put PC on there and removed all the "exclusives" from both lists that are showing up on PC as well.

edit: aw man, no love for PC exclusives? I may spend 90% of my time on consoles these days but Starcraft 2 and Diablo 3 will probably make me forget to eat food. Too bad there's almost no second-hand market in the PC world to help prevent giving Activision any revenue.

Shhhh... fanboy arguments are like Freddy Kruger, they only happen when you're afraid of them.

lol, I honestly think it's impressive that anyone can list 17 songs in any context and I can look at the list and hate all of them.

Yeah, Fragile is easily my favorite album and Still is amazing. I love the song And All That Could Have Been, it feels so raw and honest. I would've really liked to hear the album he produced for Zack de la Rocha of Rage Against the Machine, but Zack didn't want to release it. Oh well.

@SilentShank

I waited about 18 hours outside the New Orleans Arena to be first in line and see Tool on the rail.. hope that meets your "class" quota lol. Right in front of Adam Jones, who started reading a book during the drum solo in Lateralus. It was so amazing being that close to them, you really got to see how the band operates creatively. Also the pot brownie helped.

The Fragile is such an exceptional album, and it really does feel like it's his last work because he even references back to his earlier work in the music. But the way it references itself and presents ideas in some songs and fully develops them in later songs.. so awesome. If he had kept going with that style of creative energy he could've been this generation's Beethoven, the way he handled his themes on the Fragile really seemed to hint at it. Everything after he got sober was basically...

It's really obvious that they crapped out the Slip in a month. I liked Year Zero a lot, but it almost feels like that without the drug addictions to filter the material he creates, EVERYTHING is coming out, and the good stuff gets lost in the mix.

Probly sounds mean, but cmon, let's face it.. his music was better before he was sober. I love NIN, they're probably my favorite group if I had to name one, but like most musicians, his most beautiful stuff comes out when there's some...

Seriously? Why was this even made into a separate news story? The man's contributions to the gaming world include the Quake 2 score and a few tracks in Guitar Rock Hero Band, and they're going to rip a couple-sentence comment like this out of a massive interview to feed the fanboy gators?

And before HD-DVD bit the dust, what he said was basically true. Now it's different.. but why do we care what one musician who stopped paying attention to Sony said?

Let's not fo...

He even says he's kidding in the next couple sentences, and mentions the fact that people are gonna come from N4G and get pissed off at the first sentence. Which means there was no other reason to say it aside from getting hits. It'd be one thing if it was a legitimate comparison he ran with throughout the review, but he just says he's kidding and cops out by saying it's silly to compare the two (which I agree, they're extremely different games, they shouldn't really be compared). Cheap ta...

No wonder they weren't too phased about the COD6 Elite bundle

I was hoping it'd be 2 controllers, each with an analog stick so characters could be moved around the way they are on a normal controller

F*ck. I've officially seen more of this game than I want to ahead of its release. Media blackout time!

haha yeah dude, I'm addicted to the co-op like crack. I've never been big on competitive, but the fact that I enjoy U2's competitive says a lot for me. The co-op is absolutely perfect though.

Now that you mention it, I'm pretty sure I have enough body fat stored up to hibernate through the winter on my couch. Given that I only need to move my fingers... and since I won't be consuming anything, I won't need to go to the bathroom!

Sweet. Okay dude, if I don't post back on N4G by January 14th, just do me a favor and call a coroner.
