Headhunter had a cover system too, and I guess technically MGS2 and Splinter Cell did as well
EEEEEEEE!!! *pees pants like a little girl who just got the pony she always wanted*
Because some people's opinions matter more than others!
That's retarded. It's bad enough that they select only certain sites to put up there, making those sites' reviews "matter" more than others, but I had no idea they weighed some sites in favor of others.
I was wondering why when U2 only had 4 reviews up, 2 100s and 2 95s, the average was rounded to 97 instead of 98. Now I see it's because IGN gave it a 9.5. Though I guess I understand giving offshoot...
What's the glitch? Did they think "The Stage" had more than just a white grid goin on?
It's interesting cuz some of the other reviews have said the exact opposite, that the first half is slow and it doesn't pick up in awesome-itude until the second half.
In the words of Scooby-Doo, "baaRRROOOOO?!?!!??"
I think so, the same thing happened to me. It just goes to their home page now.
Hey, if they keep up their pace they actually may get there.
also lulz @ your avatar
Did you run into Steve Ballmer while you were down there?
ah-HO! ba-ZING! Seriously though I can't believe this score.
I'm pretty sure a pig just flew by my window. Also, it's raining skittles and Leprechauns are real.
Man, just wait til Xbox Live gets it and we start seeing this stuff for every achievement anyone gets ever.
Just cuz they could have crapped it out any time they wanted doesn't mean they were going to, or that it would've been good if they did. Damn them, taking the extra time to make a game superior to the competition. Maybe the Forza press scared them into going that extra mile, but that's what's good about competition. I'm getting both, so frankly, I'm glad PD is taking their sweet time. I'd hate to play Forza 3 only to get GT5 and have it be the same thing.
That's what I was gonna say. I thought something about this article smelled mildly retarded.
I didn't really like the demo either. I'm not a fan of the controls, they seem way more complicated than they need to be. And I don't like the multiplayer format for single-player, it makes me care way less about generally everything that's happening.
I thought Capcom swore up and down that Lost Planet 2 was coming out this year? I can't seem to find a release date though, does anyone know?
See, the first one came off as humorous, this just comes off as bitter. Maybe that's the point, but the first article had more light-hearted charm and didn't feel fanboyish. This one feels like a dumping ground for fanboy arguments. Again, maybe that's the point, but it kind of feels like someone took a joke too personally and got pissed off and wrote this.
Small world. Fred Tatasciore does half of the Beasts' voices in MGS4
I was thinking they might look a little better than the E3 demo, especially the cyclops one. It's hard to tell though.
Kind of looks like Lost Planet 2 with different aliens. I feel like the real impact of this game will be lost on me if I can't play it in 3D.
HA! Way to douche the average down to 9.5.
It's hard to tell through the translation, but it seems like the gist is "Uncharted 1 was kind of like Tomb Raider, but Uncharted 2 was less like Tomb Raider, so it's worse."
