i think it'd be stupid, most likely, but as long as the game doesn't lock you out of anything by NOT having kinect, whatever, it doesn't matter.
I don't think New Vegas should've not happened, I think they should've given Obsidian 3-4 years with a new engine instead of 15 months with an old, rusty one. I love New Vegas, but like most Obsidian projects, their ambition didn't have enough resources to breathe.
supposedly a preview build of the first chunk of the game has leaked
good call, i remember that now.
they've saved it for TGS the past 2 years, i'm sure they're doing it again this year.
i pretty much never played it online. i'll replay the story when the dx11 patch is out and that'll be the last time i pay $60 for a PC game, ever, ever.
i bought both today, and witcher 2 has been constantly pulling me away from LA noire, and i didn't even play the first witcher. at the very least, here's this-- witcher 2 is cheaper, the gog version is DRM free, AND apparently it makes other games cheaper, since I beat a random monk in dice and was given a reward in the extras section, which took me to a page at gog.com that told me I had earned a discount on one of 11 atari titles in their library. shweet.
also, yo...
i'm absolutely loving this game. i have today off from work, so i downloaded this from gog and picked up LA noire for ps3, and i'm barely getting any time in with LA noire because this keeps sucking me back. i haven't even played the first one, yet im really into it-- fantastic game so far.
okay, has anyone else who's started playing found the assassin's creed-related easter egg in the prologue? i was cracking up when i found it and i've had no one to share it with.
oh cmon, that's a high quality list of games. i already own all the games on that list, but i'm not upset in the least because the simple gesture of offering two high quality games when they could've just gone with a couple crappy psn games goes a long way.
i can never have enough skrillex, dammit
i don't think this is a very valid comparison-- DICE said that each light source in BF3's lighting system contains more data than an entire level in bad company 2. It may still be "frostbite", but it's a new engine all together. It really comes down to how efficiently they can stream detail in and out of the consoles' limited memory.
BWWWWAAAAAAAMMMMMMMMMMMM

awesome, thank you for the tips
what are some of the mods you use on the pc version? i wanna look into this, the last time i tried re4 on pc i was turned off by how crappy the port was but this looks pretty good.
yeah i mean the game is a blast, i'm really loving it, the story is the type of intriguing sci-fi i'm into and the nanosuit makes you feel like a true badass, but the lack of directx11 and advanced options left a bit of a bad taste in my mouth.
oh thank god. why crytek didn't include these options in the retail release continuously blows my mind. the person who made this deserves a medal or a cuddle from somebody
Especially when a company charges $60 for ALL of their PC games when we know that extra $10 doesn't go towards a licensing fee for the platform.
it won't stay on top forever, but the game that becomes the next massive fad won't be a game that sets out trying to best it at what it already does. competing companies should be trying to fragment the cod user base, not convert it. providing several specific and distinct alternatives is more likely to hook different types of COD players-- setting out to completely move the user base to a different game will likely never be successful.
i might grab this, i never played them
