totally. 'next generation espionage action' lol
from a business standpoint it's definitely understandable, but i totally agree with you. when it comes to a game you want or a franchise you love, it can be infuriating.
i think it's important that people in the industry maintain video games as art over video games as a business. yes, it's the largest entertainment industry in the world right now, but it's a shame to see franchises that used to be great being run into the ground by being annualized and over-...
win. though i'd rather see a new IP. then a new snatcher. then a new ZOE. i'd like to see MGS get a rest, but let's face it, if he announces an official MGS5 i'll probably lose my sh*t. i've been balls deep in that franchise for 12 years and i'm not about to stop now.
does the phrase "situational awareness" remind anyone else of Archer?
not bad, but the witcher 2 definitely had better foliage over a longer draw distance. is this on console?
i've been playing it, it looks REALLY good. there's definitely some noticeable spots here and there where they didn't bother to touch up the shaders, but the stuff they did upgrade is truly amazing. i'm surprised that i can actually run it on the absolute max settings, even though it only runs at about 20fps-- not comfortably playable, but at least i can crank it up every now and then and see what certain environments look like on max.
I definitely don't think Battlefield 3 will outsell call of duty. Battlefield 3's function as a weapon against COD for EA is to have people say, "ugh, this call of duty is so similar to the last ones, i feel like nothing has evolved. wait, what's this other game, this is amazing!"
now i'm gonna have to hire a nanny, i mean SOMEONE has to take care of my kids. jesus.
so basically... "you mean i actually have to put effort into protecting my child from violent media? that's abhorrent"
judging by his wii 2 estimate... we'll see it in about 25.
he came to do standup at my college. the opening comedian was some random no-name guy that everyone thought was gonna suck-- COMPLETELY blew him outta the water. kennedy wasn't funny at all, the only time anyone laughed was to laugh AT him when he started picking on the exact same couple in the audience that the opener picked on, trying to use the exact same jokes.
but hey, at least i have to give him credit for being above using cheap stereotypes to try and win an argu...
bubbles for lulz
i think he's seriously underestimating the elder scrolls fanbase
lol i'm getting a kick outta this
such a good litmus test for douchebaggery
yeah screw that. the last time i installed anything apple on windows i COULD NOT uninstall it, i had to basically hack my own registry. maybe they've gotten better since then, as this was years ago, but i'm sure as hell not taking the risk.
lulz!
i stopped at world at war. my friend and i picked it up at best buy, all excited to play the co-op campaign, only to be done with it 4 hours later. the graphics looked absolutely horrible on his 60" 1080p screen, and the multiplayer felt like a ww2-themed map and weapon pack to cod4. i traded it in the next day, and that was it for me. i've played a substantial amount of mw2 and black ops at friends' houses, enough to know that there's no reason for me to want to buy eith...
lol, i love joke articles.
seriously though, this: "The criticisms regarding Elite have had me rather flabbergasted, because, as a Call of Duty fan, I see it as a doorway to exclusivity. Elite really does feel to me like a reward for the community, because it’s bringing every Call of Duty game together. For me, the price equates to exclusivity, as it does with any online community."
makes no sense to me. not trying to be a dick or anything, i seriously don&...
i paid $100 for my 64 bit windows 7.
i highly doubt these are final system reqs. the point of the alpha test is to make sure servers run properly (as opposed to balancing the game itself, which they'll do in the beta), so they probably need tester rigs to be above a certain threshold. i'd ignore anything about system reqs until the beta in september.
