every november on the dot. do you think when a project director asks for an extension, bobby kotick drops them into the rancor pit?

is this "project dark" or whatever that game was that was announced at TGS? or is this a different part of atlus?

i agree with you, but the state of games journalism is so sad these days that you can basically assume that any media outlet with a decent amount of popularity has taken the bribe. it's good to know which review you can read without having to assume that the reviewer was given 'incentive' for a positive review.

i would've gladly accepted a delay into this holiday season for those two scenes to have made it in. and it's not like the the graphics would've been out-done.. except maybe by gt5, but still, it's hard to compare realistic cars to super-stylized greek mythology.

as pro-independent developer as i am, it'd benefit obsidian and zenimax if zenimax bought obsidian like they did id. since id has said that only other zenimax developers will be allowed to use id tech 5, we won't have any more of this gamebryo crap lying around, and bethesda and obsidian can focus on their world-building and writing skills. let bethesda focus on elder scrolls, let obsidian focus on fallout, and let the development houses help each other out. obsidian and bethesda c...

supposedly one of the big causes of crashes is that the engine fragments the data it stores in your RAM. the solution that's worked best for me (and also worked for my friend who's been playing) is a program called gamebooster by a company called iobit-- you can find it on their website and it's totally free. it shuts down a bunch of non-essential windows processes when you're in 'game mode' and cleans and defrags your RAM. NV still crashes on me, but MUCH less freq...

oh don't get me wrong, everyone has plenty to say on topics such as this, including myself. but this arnie vs free speech case is extremely important and has recently been thrown into the foreground, and if the supreme court makes a ruling, it's not likely to be overturned for a loooong time.

my point is, look at any corner of the gaming section of the internet and you'll see droves of passionate people expressing themselves in one way or another in the comment s...

im with you. the bugs are annoying, but anyone with a little patience can get past it. there's more than a handful of really classic fallout moments, and it definitely has that soul that fallout 3 lacked.

i keep seeing this argument popping up all over the internet recently. why are we so focused on a pointless fanboy war when there's literally a case in the supreme court right now that might declare that video games aren't covered by the first amendment? we're so good at raising our voices and making a big stink out of petty stuff like this, why can't we stop this fanboy war for at least a few hours and focus this energy toward something that has the potential to affect and ...

kudos for mentioning Wawa. Wawa is the greatest store ever created in the history of mankind... ever.

interesting thing i noticed about the chip.. i was looking at it very closely the other day and i noticed morse code etched into each side of the chip. i decided to find a translator and see what the code came out to-- it's all numbers, and on one side it says 232077. on the other, 112281. on the first side, the little roulette ball is in the 10 slot, giving you 10 23...

i wouldn't call vice city a gta3 expansion, it's the same principle. i think this is much more of a "fallout 3" than fallout 3 was, fallout 3 turned a blind eye to a lot of the events in the history of fallout and basically said "brotherhood of steel! enclave! super mutants! you remember this stuff from the 90s!" and threw it all in a DC setting with a feeble narrative connection to why some of those groups were even on that side of the country to begin with.

obviously trading the digital games back into steam for credit could get really complicated, but i don't see why they couldn't allow users to trade with each other. if i were to trade fallout new vegas in exchange for day of defeat with my friend, it doesn't matter if the dollar value of the games are different, it still counts as one copy of new vegas sold and one copy of day of defeat sold. it doesn't affect the developer or publisher at all, only which steam account has t...

really confusing at first glance but i think it's awesome that they created an original card game with this kind of depth just for the game.

unless it's just an existing card game with different name, i wouldnt know

they should've made the embargo earlier, i agree.
but i think obsidian has a lot going for them this time. i know alpha protocol used unreal engine which is middleware but i feel like the oblivion/fallout3 engine would be even easier to work with because of all the mod tools that are already set up. also it's an established IP that some of obsidian's people helped to establish, and a universe that the game's leads are really passionate about. i know they only had 18...
