AMAZING trailer. i was so pumped to see that naughty dog logo
Look, I love platinum games, and I'm totally going to buy this. But if this is true, and it really seems to be, I'm disappointed. I knew Kojima wasn't running the show, but his studio at least carries on his development genes. I was hoping for another Kojipro game. Again, I absolutely love platinum games, they're a top notch studio, and I will TOTALLY be buying this. But, ya know. Humbug.
Another thing that disappoints me is that there really doesn't...
hahahaha the music after every shout is cracking me up. SO. EPIIIIIICCCCCCCCCCC
honestly, i've never finished planescape because it's huge. it feels like EVERY single person you can talk to has a unique dialogue tree. as in, every single NPC you see wandering around. and it is like BG and ID, but honestly, i recommend playing it and not even investing in any combat-related attributes. i dumped everything into intelligence and charisma. instead of like more modern RPGs, successful dialog checks will get you MORE dialog, and let you dig deeper into the convers...
shadow broker was the best. i also liked kasumi's quest, it broke the mold of the typical land-and-shoot quests from the rest of the game. a lot of those atypical quests stand out in my mind, like stopping the assassination on the citadel, or rooting out morinth in the night club.
man, i loved those games. it really felt like you stumbled across situations, rather than triggering quests. none of that "this person doesn't show up until you talk to this person" BS. the junktown one in fallout 1 stands out in my mind-- you roll into town, the sheriff complains about the casino boss illegally running the town. so i strolled straight into the casino, right into his back office, and shot him in the head. i come back to the sheriff expecting a "hey, th...
people bitch about valve always using a silent protagonist, but frankly, i've yet to see anyone do first-person narrative better than half life and portal. the 'shock games come close, i think, but valve still takes the... (god dammit)... cake.
true, but i was too young at that point to experience it. all i remember is being about 4 years old, and everyone and (literally) their mother playing it on gameboy. that's when i got into sonic, too, on my genesis that i got for my 4th birthday, even though it was out on the sega master system before that. it all boils down to personal nostalgia, i s'pose.
DON'T. do this to me. because now i'm going to be disappointed with whatever it ends up being if it isn't this.
you know, this isn't actually that bad of a list. obviously everyone's personal top 10 is going to differ drastically, i know mine would, but there wasn't anything on there that made me say "HOW THE HELL COULD YOU PUT THIS" etc etc. tetris may be an odd choice to some, but i remember when it dropped on the original clunky-ass gameboy, EVERYONE i knew played tetris. at the time, it was friggin huge. i wouldn't put it on my personal top 10, but i can definitely see...
looks like my og droid X will have to sit this one out :-(
i need to grab me one of those tegra phones.
what i REALLY want is for them to port chinatown wars to android. they put it on ios years ago, and the thing was built on the DS, so it should be able to run on pretty much any android phone out there.
man, this looks even better than nebula's, at least for now.
you know what, screw it. let's just remake skyrim in cryengine.
you just inspired me to make a mod for a dragon shout that summons all the bacon and eggs you have.
now when i say all the bacon and eggs you have, you're thinking just a lot of bacon and eggs. but i mean, literally, bring me ALL. the bacon. and eggs. you have.
karts of duty!
this is like those knock-off off-brand products you find in the cereal aisle. "frosty flecks... theyrrrrrrre food!"
eh dust 514 TECHNICALLY isn't a new IP since it's in the EVE universe, but i see what you mean in the context of the discussion, because it's certainly a new and awesome idea. also that vga sony exclusive being teased definitely sounds like a new IP. it'd be nice to see some new BIGGER IPs, it's a shame to see companies like ubisoft openly relegating new IP to the bite-sized-download spectrum.
hahahahahahaha bubbles for lulz
wouldn't that shirt have the lamda in the circle, with the 3 as superscript?
i acquired the wabbajack just last night, but i hadn't even thought to use it outside of the quest. now i HAVE to.
it's all running on ps3, it says so if you watch the trailer on the website. yeah, gameplay would've been nice, but they JUST finished a game, so it'll probably be a bit before we see that.
