Someone actually reported my comment because I listed what the games were. So beware when giving out details to any article, being helpful doesn't pay here.

Microsoft could shake things up a bit if they do plan on releasing a subsidized system with a low starting point based on a subscription based model. They could offer Live and a 3 year term for $9.99 a month and a upfront fee of $199. Or sell the system for $399. I just don't see them dropping the Live fees which is a shame. The Xbox 360 will get a major price cut this year.

As for Sony they are a bit more of a mystery. Their current PS3 is still over $200 retail, and the...

Well if it was a $60 game then it would not be what this game is. That is not what ThatGameCompany makes. They make interesting games that go against the grain of your typical game that comes out. Sadly there are a ton of these smaller titles that don't get the recognition but Journey did. So its praise is deserved, it doesn't need to sell on graphics alone. It doesn't need to sell on marketing alone, it doesn't need to be a clone of something else. It's another game they ...

Lots of games within their top 20 are not FPS.

If this game were to be released on the Vita or PSN, members here would be all over it. There are so many cool games on the PC that should get more support.

Now I am not supporting it being hacked but I want to ask a simple question, do regional locks do anything beneficial to the consumer? One example is there are many instances that the European region gets better treatment when it comes to Playstation Plus. There are also regional exclusive content when it comes to music service like iTunes. So again I ask, do these regional locks have any benefit to the consumer?

Granted I know there are language barriers but if the consumer ...

They should. If they don't it will be a massive fail. When you buy stuff off of Steam and iTunes it stays with your account regardless if you upgrading your computer or buying other hardware. Of course certain content on iTunes such as some games and apps are only functional on supported devices. I don't see why XBLA and PSN games can't continue on to new systems. It will be full Xbox 360 games on demand and full PS3 games that have some worried. That is why backwards compatible h...

Good interview, even if it was a mock-up of one. I'm also supporting the PC more and more.

This is just my own opinion after playing all 3 consoles:

When it comes to exclusive game content I think the PS3 did the best job. When it comes to ease of use the Xbox 360 was the better choice (Updates, playing online, didn't have to deal with mandatory installs). I also prefer the Xbox 360 controller.

I think the Xbox 360 started off on a better footing for gaming (if you disregard the sloppy hardware reliability). But it stalled after a few years wi...

This goes to show how marketing and getting exclusive DLC (timed or full) actually helps. It's no secret Microsoft has aligned themselves with Call of Duty while Sony has made agreements with EA's Battlefield 3.

I have to agree with rocky as well (Bubbles Up for being reasonable and insightful). If anyone spends any time on forums they know how disrupted some people get and how out of hand they can be. The team behind the new DMC got backlash from the very start.

DragonKinght, don't conveniently twist my words. I am far from a yes man who thinks everything is gravy. I'm talking about those who have written this game off months ago before a single screenshot of actual gameplay was ever released.

I find it ironic how you're so eager to call people yes men who may actually like what they see so far or one that doesn't think every reviewer who gives it a positive score must be paid off. God forbid anyone actually having an...

It's good to see the smaller games get attention. This game has won lots of awards and it's on sale, so if you haven't played it there's no better time.

It's funny how malicious some people get over videogames. People put in hard work to make them for others to enjoy.

The problem isn't the game, the problem is a core group of people who have nothing better to do than spew negativity in hopes others join their pathetic bandwagon. In fact some of them are so determined they are willing to create multiple accounts just to get their point across and be heard.

Don't people have anything better to do th...

Now Notch will always live in the shadow of Minecrafts success. He's working on a new game and hopefully it will be addicting as well. Hopefully it won't have to live up to Minecrafts expectations.

"Live down? Whatever I don't care really since I don't use it."

Then why come into an article about Live? Or is this the old tit-for-tat mentality that is still going on since 2005?

This is one of the fears while we move to an online world. There is going to come a time where we can't access things and that is why many still prefer physical mediums. I hold Xbox Live to a higher standard since it is a paid service. That is why Microsoft s...

Obviously he is frustrated by a small group out there who feel the need to ruin the fun for others.

Not all hackers are idiots mind you. In fact I'm sure some are actually highly intelligent. They just need to focus their interests elsewhere so that what they do don't impact other people who are not interested in the games being hacked.

We're still in the learning phase when it comes to online conduct. People get banned or warned on game forums f...

Yea, pretty good list. One thing you'll notice is just how diverse the library is along with very affordable software.
