Not necessarily true. It’s a procedurally made game, so there might’ve been unintended shifts in difficulty, down or up.
I didn’t even think to look for this, but it’s why I pulled the trigger on the purchase just now.
Sounds great, in fact way better than their current plan of one good game every 2 years.
Good, because I can’t transfer my save from PS4, and the only way I’d start from scratch is if it had Dualsense support. I can’t wait to feel what Kojima did with those triggers.
Disappointed...
I think the GoW reboot was always envisioned as a trilogy, so buckle up for GoW 3 in 4-5 years.
As long as they support the Dualsense, that’s fine.
I WILL beat Soma.
I hear you:
You doubt the quality of games has been impacted by cross-gen support.
I agree with the likelihood of your assumption, but I would also point out that we’ll just never know for sure.
I feel like this complaint is more appropriate for sims
What if I don’t want to play a ton of games? What if I’m fine with 6 games a year? Can Live be $5/month again for me?
Why the doubling in price?
I LOVE delays. They’re lightyears more desirable than buggy launches.
Do you want the game now? Or when it’s finished? There’s no third option. Humans make these games, not sleepless automatons.
I think a major issue is simply that devs don’t know how yet to make a game that can ONLY run on ps5 and it’s special ssd.
For now, it is simply possible to port most games between gens. I think we all just hope this doesn’t lead to any ps5 games being redesigned to work on the ps4.
Halo Infinite -2021
Starfield-2021
Doom Eternal sequel-2023
Stalker 2-2022
Fable-2024
My predictions^^
Can’t wait for this bubble to burst.
So many people got Game Pass for a dollar for a whole year, or just signed up to get one game for free.
I doubt people will want to keep paying $15/month once the initial incentives dry up.
And, I’m betting that the price will need to increase once M$ has actual AAA exclusives to offer through the service. Such an increase is bound to shake some people loose, too.
Ultimately, M$ c...
Demon Souls looked better, but that’s also when locked to 30 fps. The game looks great, but I was hoping for more of a graphics boost for next gen than 60 fps. That makes it more akin to a PS4 game that got BC support. I’m buying it day 1, obviously, but I’m also just hoping that sooner than later we will see what the ps5 can do that the PS4 can’t by simply reducing the fps or resolution.
Show us what the SSD allows the ps5 to do that the PS4 and XsX cannot. Isn’t that ...
I don’t think you understand the forces that drive these decisions. At the end of the day, they want to make money. Sony games stay exclusive because they sell well, and they only go to PC once Sony has determined that their console exclusivity isn’t driving PS4 sales anymore. At that point, you might as well expand the market for the game.
Psychonauts 2 could stay exclusive to Xbox forever if it sells well enough, and M$ determines that it drives Game Pass or Xbox conso...
I’m more interested in hearing things like “the PS4 version won’t have these effects”
One publisher slowly plucks studios as they prove themselves worthy. Another publisher throws its weight around by making the single biggest media acquisition in history.
Both have potential, but let me draw this potential parallel: which yielded better content, Disney’s Star Wars acquisition, or their Pixar partnership?
