Kim Swift has done some innovative stuff with game mechanics… what have they done with cloud gaming?
Ugh, considering how well they supported the controller, it would be nice if they supported ALL unique ps5 features as well. That said, i didn’t even notice this myself. Good to know I suppose.
This would be more interesting if we knew how many units were made of each, then we’d know how many might still be on a shelf somewhere.
It’s my favorite use of the dualsense so far. The guns all feel unique from the get-go, and tinkering with them yields an extra level of impact from your choices.
I feel like MAG took this same approach, albeit their maps also incorporated a lot of symmetry when scaling the maps up to 128 v 128.
I have a ps5.
I loved Halo1-3, and I love LoU2 more than part 1.
Regarding Bethesda, I also loved Fallout 3, and all of my friends loved Skyrim.
Anybody that is a fan of rpgs, even slightly, has to be keen on checking out Starfield.
I’m happy M$ finally has an exclusive for Sony to envy AT ALL, because that is what keeps Sony from resting on their success.
Starfield isn’t a guaranteed success like H...
Wow people love characters too much sometimes… too much in that it makes them think it’s THEIR story to dictate.
Abby was a story direction nobody predicted, AND it ultimately fit perfectly as a follow up to a story that nobody had faith in having a worthwhile follow up.
At the very least, respect the creative ambition, and stop writing it off as mere pandering just because you still miss you know who.
Lol…. Thanks for the contribution lol
What token character, what rape?
Of course not. Spider-Man couldn’t be in another game on Xbox. PS gamers just forgot what it’s like to envy an exclusive. This is normal, and necessary. Now we get to watch Sony counter, and, if you wanna benefit from the competition that’s being promoted, then now it might actually be worth buying both consoles again.
This is a GREAT thing if you have the spare $500 to contribute to your gaming hobby. It’s only a pain if you can’t spare/save the cash, or you’re just a...
They can nurture all they want, publishers can still get lucky with a golden goose, too. PS2 had a huge library, and all I wanted to play was Halo.
Nowadays, my dualsense controller has my attention. Who knows what Microsoft counters with. Hopefully not just Game Pass 2.0, but something as outstanding as Halo was at the time. That’s what they need, not just a cheaper alternative to mostly 3rd party games. And that’s because Last of Us 3 with a dualsense controller will ...
One architecture could be more suited for a given performance facet than the other architecture.
Nowhere to go but up.
I think the adaptive triggers are a bigger feature than haptic feedback.
Lol, no shit. Anybody who rebels against Abby’s inclusion is completely blind to what the story is intentionally doing to them: it challenges your perceptions.
Everybody felt basically the same after the first part, because we were supposed to. Definitely plenty to discuss in terms of character decisions, but, ultimately, we as the player would NEVER let Ellie go.
Now, for part 2, all they did was complicate that decision. I love how I am still chewing...
The textures are the best of any console game. They could totally make it run on ps5, but they’d have to scale ALOT of details down.
I see game pass as Family Friendly because it is cost friendly. Alotta kids want a game for a cool box cover, but get bored of it quickly. If I was a parent, I would value being able to give my kids access to 100+ games for a reasonable monthly fee. I wouldn’t even use it myself, I would just be happy that I don’t have to shell out $60 as often for a game my kid thinks is cool. They can try a lot of stuff, and be bored less.
Xbox committed to dual gen development through 2022. So, since the launch date is the end of that period, I think this means Starfield will be amongst the last games dev’d for the Xbone.
What do you “believe” outside of this?
Disagree, Xbox initially stood out from PS and N because they had games rated M games like Halo. GL topping Nintendo’s lineup for Family Friendly.
I feel like game pass is great for kids, and Nintendo and PS don’t have answers yet for this Family Friendly feature (and I’m okay with that).
Xbox’s weakness is that there isn’t alotta reason to buy a Series X/S outside of luxury features, which some people might actually see as a strength (but not me).
There’s no way Sony doesn’t do some research to see if a game is moving consoles anymore. Once that drive period of past, there’s no reason to not let devs make more money via pc ports. It’ll only make the studio stronger for when they get back to making their next Sony-exclusive.
