You don't even have to own an HDTV to play any of these three systems. I am playing XBox 360 right now on an ancient TV from the 1980's. When this TV breaks or HD becomes mandatory in my area, then I'll upgrade, but until then I'll stick with my craptastic TV for games.

Over 150 of them out NOW and next years line up is to die for. PS3 has NOTHING out now or in the pipeline that's gonna make me want to pony up $600 and run out and buy one.
can the rest of their games be far behind?? How is PS3 going to compete without EA?? EA also wields a lot of power in the industry. Where they lead, others follow. If EA drops PS3 support, other software producers may do the same figuring that if it isn't profitable for a giant like EA, how can it be profitable for a smaller company with fewer resources and less programming talent??

The Athlon 64 3400+ in my laptop has a clock rate of 2.2 ghz, but easily runs many times faster than the P4 2400 in my desktop. The original XBox hardware is still superior to the Wii in screen resolution and pushing polygons. You can't judge a system strictly on it's clock speed alone.
