@tay did you miss his comment? where does he say that wasnt the case? oh wait he didnt, but when someone says something negative about sony, instead of adressing it 99% of the people here say: look at ps exclusives vs ms exclusives when the topic isnt even about that. hes just saying that he isnt the biggest fan of state of play and wants e3 conferences back. nothing about who decimated who last gen or who didnt.
I also want Sony back at E3, they delivered some of the most...
@returnoffish its a fact that its just bitterness. i thought the nintendo audience were supposed to be children, but it seems its the ps audience. Did you hear them crying when Banjo got into smash, i wont buy it because its owned by ms :(
I pray this is the best game bethesda will ever release, just to see the shitshow and confusion the comments will be on this site. before ratchet released and ONE reviewer didnt give the story a 9, people started the flamewars allready wi...
they do it to make money not to screw with the players. The people that make and distribute these things dont give an f about anyone besides themselves or their experience.
@darkborn lend money? and do you really think phil was the only one that had a say in the aqcuisition? also bethesda still has a publishing departement, so there you go. Also if they are making the same type of games then everything stays kind of the same besides being on ps consoles.
lets now start disecting playstation statements: for the players! 70 dollar games, locking out fornite account if you have only logged once into it on a playstation system, timed exclusive gam...
makes sense, companies of that size and impact in the industry dont get taken over from one day to another. I actually never imagined bethesda being bought out at all. Now lets hope good things come from it.
and you think Sven Vincke would let that happen? the only thing they got from making the divinity (not dos) games in collab with 3rd parties were deadlines (one of their games even got released without them knowing). They almost went bankrupt because of it. No way he will let an aqcuisition happen.
I used to do this as well, now i really want to start them when they release. to learn the game along with the rest of the playerbase. I always feel that if i wait for the ultimate version the only people who play online are the veterans which kick my ass so badly its not even funny. I never buy or care that much about dlc characters etc so I never feel like im missing our or being ripped of that much.
We need a new Bloody Roar!
ill get it for sure, from what theyve shown so far from the updates im pleased with the direction they are going. Im not so sure about the mass group raid bosses, i dont think that fits diablo well. but for the rest it seems to be shaping up pretty well.
and both of them will end up cancelled.
My parents only bought me a game for me and my brother for christmas and maybe 1 for my birthday. When i was 14 i immediately got a summer job and a weekend job and i managed to buy a couple games with that. Its still possible for kids nowadays to get a side job and buy a couple games with that. There is also insane steam deals very often now, so they should be fine.
@isarai but if the tech is allready there how can it cost them more money?
but then those other people that arent in the same game will be in another lobby with bots thus requiring more bandwith as well. instead of 128 players you have 128 players and 128 bots then. + its 2 lobbies not 1.
i agree, i mean it looks nice and all but what is the use of this if it isnt in an actual game that runs on modern hardware. I want to see if things like this are actually possible with a game running, because thats whats its going to be used for.
@darkborn no it doesnt. just look at the skin, hairs and pores etc. it was amazing for its time, and even though it still looks good and i enjoy watching it again, for todays standards its pretty bad.
yeah those keyresellers arent the greatest to buy from if you care only a bit for supporting the devs. Im sure G2A got better after the whole drama a couple years back, but still. Too many shady shit going on there.
@pete that might be true for a portion of the playerbase. I really like the perks of having some free games each month. Through ps+ i discovered so many fun games that i probably otherwise would have never bought or played. I really like a wide variety of genres so ps+ and i assume if i had and xbox gamepass would deliver the same need for me.
how you portray the value of gamepass is certainly not how it is calculated for everyone.
@marvin "It's really difficult to have conversations with them because their taste in games is awful."
so far you have proven to be condescending about their games, about their taste in game, you are a boomer by their standards and you are their teacher not their friend, now tell me why they would want to have a conversation with you about games? it rather seems you are the problem, not them.
im pretty sure if i were born in 2005 instead of 1989 i wou...
it was pretty nice untill it got played to death everywhere. Here its become kind of a meme now because of that.
I thought MS was just allright, i expected them to announce a bunch of games and they did. I didnt expect to see gameplay of 10+ of their first party titles, so for me it was kind of what i expected. The Outer Worlds 2 teaser was the highlight for me actually, i love that kind of self aware humor ;)
i totally agree, E3 hasnt been the same sony stopped participating. Its like the superbowl of gaming someone called it before here and i think thats a pretty accurate description. no matter your allegiance its hype because you love the sport, or in this case games.
State of play is actually really good for a deep dive into games, really liked how they did the Horizon one, but that doesnt mean i dont want to see anything at E3 from them. The Kevin Buttler conferences were to...
