their biggest profit isnt from selling consoles though. they make profit of every game sold for the platform, every single game sold. let that sink in. So i would rather call them in the business of a software developer/platformholder
@enkidu yeah pc isnt in direct competition with consoles like the big 3 are. Most people i know that are "pc gamers" also have a console because they dont want to miss out on great exclusives.
I personally would like to see their games on pc sooner, but im also fine with how they are doing it now.
yeah i dont get the uproar, the graphics of both HZD and GOW2 will probably be perfectly fine. Yes maybe it wont be the best of the best graphics ever at that time but are we forgetting that we are talking about santa monica and guerilla here? they have always delivered amazing looking games, so im not sure why people would be worried or angry now.

@darth i dont think that is true, they can just develop it for a pc with specs that they expected the ps5 to have and work from there. These guys arent stupid and are in close communication with Sony. This game was probably planned as a ps5 launch title from the get go and if they allready knew it would have a super fast ssd, they would also have a rough estimate of the consoles power.
it is, you cant just copy someones property and distribute it online. I dont own a switch, so i dont know if they sell it on there, but i think you can still buy em on the wiiu (maybe 3ds as well?). but regardless of that fact, nintendo doesnt own all rights to all snes games or anything, so its not that easy for them to just nilly willy put every snes game on there.
i dont condone their reselling of their old games time and time again, instead of making it a permanent thin...
its called copyright. and they do still resell a lot of their games on eshop n stuff, thats why.

actually super pleased about this, these guys publish the somewhat smaller, darker comics that in gaming from an AAA publisher would probably never see the light of day. I assume that they are gonna go for visual novels and indie-sized games. Would love to see a Mask point and click adventure (with some combat mixed in maybe).

@glenn it let you play most of the fights yourself, mostly with some prep time before it to scout the battlefield even.Most of the big fights had major story implications, so of course they are gonna adress the story then. Also why do you care about HZD platforming? the climbing etc is fun, but lets not act like HZD has platformer mechanics or anything. jump at the right time, if there is anything to latch/stand on, it will do it for you.

@visceral some people also care about something else than pixelcount. I kind of agree that for me it doesnt need a sequel, it has such a great ending (besides the part where hades becomes a genie in a bottle). I felt the same way about last of us 1, it had such a perfect ending that i rather didnt want a sequel.

doubt it will outsell any of the numbered remakes, but marketing it like that will probably give it a boost yeah. especially with how hot RE is doing lately there should be a big enough audience for it.
