considering it looked basically better than any other game in that trailer, they were probably too ambitious. They also wanted to have endless dungeons, have several historic periods that they wanted to realize, infinite randomly generated loot. its not being made for ps5, it went in the dumpster, no way capcom would let them work on it from then on until now. it was like 9 years ago or something that trailer came out?
Looks way better than Kingmaker, ill be picking this one up while i wait for Baldur's Gate 3
@doomed it is completely different when you say "Simply stating most games that score great across the board don't end up actually being that great for me".
fyi i dont have a switch and hardly ever played much zelda games, the only 2 i finished are link to the past and oracle of seasons, never even played BotW so idc what you say about it, your initial statement is what i took issue with. you could have swapped botw with a sony game and i would have said a sim...
that makes 0 sense. thats just bs to justify you having another opinion about the game or something. saying that people who really enjoyed the game actually didnt enjoy it because its all a big conspiracy to get metacritic up and make nintendo stinking rich. Reggie is probably the mastermind behind this, he likely has a lot of shares of nintendo. tinfoilhat off
they arent exactly known for great pc ports, lets hope theyve done a better job at that this time.
@lodos why should they be entitled to royalties? assuming they get paid for development by square i dont think they should, unless they managed to get an amazing deal. the devs literally have 0 risk, they get paid no matter if the game is good or bad, if the game is bad only square gets the negative aspects of it but when its good then all of a sudden the devs should get the positives from that?
Im not saying royalties should never be a thing, but i dont think they are ent...
and you are also able to click links on torrent sites, we got the message now. people do this stuff for 15+ years now, its nothing special and we all have google to find these sites if we want.
@surgical the game industry is allready flourishing, youve been living under a rock?
and with price conscience you mean? all ps+ and gamepass subs?
"so the industry can flourish as it should" you mean companies trying to squeeze as much money as possible out of you? im getting star wars vibes when palpatine became senator and the death of democracy was celebrated under a thundering applause.
Stop simping for companies, its pathetic and...
Mega64, good times!
"Sony started Vita production using OLED panels then switched to LCD to cut costs. In a sense actually rewarding early adopters"
no, they werent rewarding you in any way. they just realized it was too pricey. See the connection between high price and vita flopping? all they were doing was trying to save a sinking ship.
@kayoss so if you were a company and you were releasing a new product or new version of a product, how would you promote it? Would you say in your ad: just slightly better than our previous version or something like: stunning, beautiful, groundbreaking? even though they dont even use these words u said in their promotion.
I was kinda on the fence on buying a switch and this OLED thing did nothing to help that, so i just do what any other reasonable person would, i ignore t...
its sad that even needs to be said, but yeah. it seems the gaming industry as a whole should take a hard look at themselves. Especially from the big companies we start to hear more and more of this.
so the name of the npc will only be changed if blizzard gets caught, as long as they arent apprently they are fine having the name of a sexual harasser in their game. funny how that works.
is multiplayer still up for the remastered trilogy? or did it never have UC2 mp?
uncharted 2 is one of the few games that actually surpassed its pre-release hype.
probably a combination of both. thats why i will never create a twitter account, so i dont have to come across cancel campaigns like that. I can get that some people are a bit disappointed by the slight change in direction, since mk is basically one of the games that does feme fatale well, but still no reason to go on a crusade.
and now youre giving them the reaction they want, aka attention. well done my friend, well done.
I think youre underestimating it. I think/hope steamdeck will come out with a more powerfull version every 2 years or so. that way it can somewhat keep up with more demanding titles and stay relevant. It wont have the sales boom that the switch has for sure, but i do think it has potential to stay for a very long time. Just gotta wait and see how Valve handles it.
your cup comparison makes no sense, because the cupseller in the case of steamdeck also takes a cut of selling ...
@sonic so steamdeck will rely on 2 games then? HZD and Days Gone? not on the thousands of steam games that are allready out there?
looked pretty fun if you ask me. Im not into BR's at all, but i might give this one a try because it seems to be way more unique than the copy paste shit we've seen before for the last 4 years or so.
