Companies would be silly now to allow their games on Xb1 BC... The worst thing that could happen is people don't play it...on the other hand, you might get a few more sales of a game that has since fallen of the radar.
I know I personally will be buying a couple 360 games I missed before I game the console away...
If I had to bet, the price of securing TitanFall 2 as an exclusive was prohibitively high, so MS is doubling down on their own games...
Unless they are giving this thing out for free, this goal seems ridiculous.
Isn't getting things at no extra charge BETTER than paying for it?
Seriously, it's a neat way to entice people to jump into a series that they might not be caught up on...
It's not an issue... The Forza Games are bi-annual, and since Playground And Turn 10 share tech, 2 years should be enough time to develop the game... Just look at how much of an improvement FM6 is compared to FM5.
That said, if MS wanted to go to a 3 year cycle, with PGR thrown into the mix, I would be ecstatic.
Yeah, it's disappointing, I too prefer halo... But that's how the market works sometimes... All generation, any game that wasn't hitting certain performance marks was lambasted, particularly on Xbox. Gamers 'seemed' to care much more about visuals, than features like Splitscreen...
Given folks buying habits, it sounds like 343i made some compromises early on in development in the name of performance, to the detriment of this much beloved feature...
...
No it isn't...
Black Ops 3 is bringing it back to much fanfare
It's put up or shut up as far as their cloud tech is concerned. Here's hoping crackdown knocks it out the park.
That's one strange way of looking at it...
Forza's visual approach is more realistic than DriveClub, which uses a more filmic filter compared to Forza's live action approach...
Not to mention, Forza have several times more vehicles than Drive Club, more customization, with a more realistic and complex physics engine, more content, and operates at twice the framerate making it twice as responsive ...
But no, it's not that For...
Removing kinect makes xb1 cheaper, but it doesn't make it a better console...
It's funny, people are upset with the "new rare" for announcing something that isn't Banjo...
What they don't know is that Sea of Theives is "old rare" wanted to make, but settled on Banjo due to technical issues..
For me it's Xbox One... Forza Horizon 2, Ori, and Sunset Overdrive, are my favorite games this Gen... bloodborne individually is probably the best game to come out this gen, but its really the only PS4 game to move me at all so far...
And my sentiment is only going to be amplified when Rare Replay hits, followed by Forza 6 and Halo 5....
I'll probably wait for UC4 to buy a PS4, and get bloodborne with it... 2016 looks amazing for Sony... If they make...
I'm at a point in my life where I have no need for split screen MP...but the lack of LAN support is baffling to me... Aren't they banking on this being an E-sport...
Yeah ok...
Rare's best games include the original Perfect Dark, jet Force Gemini, battle toads, Conker and banjo kazooie... Sure they DK Games were good, but there's plenty of awesomeness to go around me here...
I'm really digging Halo5 MP. The beta was awesome and Warzone looks insane...
After E3, I noticed that it's the Single player I'm worried about, and the MP I feel comfortable with... That's a weird shift considering my feelings for Halo4.
What I really like is how the maps have been designed for those who take advantage of the new Spartan abilities... Before, it was all about skill jumps... Now there are skill slides, dashes, and hovers... Se...
This will never make the front page... Everyone knows Customer Service reps aren't privy to this type of information and are in general, clueless...
Silly question. Most publishers aren't going for forfeit millions on high margin console versions for the sake of prettier PC games.
There will be a few examples sprinkled here and there, but usually the budget required to make such titles exceeds the revenue that a single version will bring in.
Sort of but not really...
In titanfall, the AI were really cannon fodder that gave insignificant support to each team... In Warzone, there are two types of AI... 1) when your team captures a base, AI marines will defend it... In order for your opponent to recapture the base, they'll have to take out all your marines. 2) enemy bosses and their troops will drop in during the match... They'll serve as nuetral objectives, with match points going to the team that kills the...
It's the "handed" to the team who developed the console version.
Sure it can. There are cellphones that are doing VR. the question is: at what level of visual fidelity would it operate... If the graphics are toned down, there's no reason the xb1 couldn't produce an image at the desired frame rate and resolution...
