Would you think better of him if he said it was stupid?...
when asked about it, he gave THE answer to the question... And people hate him for it?
Not every game needs single player...
Tacked on single player is just as worthless as tacked on MP... Devs should understand what makes their franchise tick, a focus on in it. Some games need both SP and MP... Others just need one or the other...
Xbox owners support Forza plenty... Sequels come out often enough that sim fans don't need to buy energy title to get their fix. GTs come so infrequently that fans are starved by the time the next iteration rolls around.
Also Sony is more popular in places where motorsport is popular...
So there are a number of factors that might lead to Forza appearing to be adopted less... But it has a very healthy following... That why MS keeps them coming...
For as long as this game has been in development is be upset if it's really short... But you're right, Remedy isn't known for lengthy campaigns....
Seriously? The gameplay demos we've seen from QB already trounce what little gameplay was to be found in the order...
So many forced walking sections... QTE sections that were duplicates of each other, boring enemies, corridor level design... That's what The Order got panned for.
Nah, they need to keep pushing for Japanese support... If not for console sales, then to lure for Win10 developers, so they can get Japanese software onto their platform...
Just because Japanes people don't like Xbox... Doesn't mean Xbox/windows gamers don't want Japanese games...
Why would prebaked lighting help with file size?
Having dynamic lighting would reduce file size because the engine would dictate how surfaces looked; they wouldn't need to have a different texture for each time of day... Prebaked lighting increases the file size.
If you're gonna throw shots, at least know what you're aiming at.
Well, this game as double to amount of cars Forza 2 launched with... So that's 200+ cars built specifically for this game, and another 200+ that were previously built specifically for the current gen Forza engine...
So it's nice to know they can amass this massive amount of content without recycling any assets from previous generations...
It has character skins from later gears games... So it's not too far fetched to crave a horde mode...
Yeah, the choreography of the first trailer fit the song perfectly...
Not so much with this one, but it's a nice homage...
Works like a charm for me... On a crappy router. My xb1 is two stories away from my bedroom, and I haven't seen the first bit of lag or picture degradation... It just works... I'm on a surface pro 3.
For now, you claim them by logging on to Xbox.com... If your a gold member, the price will be listed as 'free'.
Once the game becomes backwards compatible, it will show up in your xb1 download queue.
@sactown
I'm sure those games you mentioned will be great and well recieved...
That doesn't mean the MS' 2016 lineup isn't good... I'm not sure what you are getting at...
MS' great lineup doesn't end with 2015, they've got an exciting 2016 as well, with quantum break, crackdown, recore, Gears 4, halo wars 2, and scalebound...
anyone who hasn't decided yet has a tough decision ahead.
It seems pretty likely that MS will be utilizing their Rare IP in the near future. They've done a great job bringing Killer Instict... And Rare replay is quite obviously a great way to gauge interest in their other franchises...
I'd love to see a new Jet Force Gemini game on current gen hardware. And a good beat em up like Battletoads... Kameo also deserves a proper sequel. And of course a return to greatness for Banjo.
You just need broadband bruh... Azure data centers are everywhere. Folks are getting sub 50ms ping playing Titan fall...
You think crackdown is going to magically increase everyone's ping? I got a 20-40ms ping to the nearest azure data center... Lag isn't even close to being an issue...
If you can stomach playing P2P multiplayer (which basically all you get on consoles) with ping varying anywhere from 50-200ms ping depending on where your host is... Then you can surely play Crackdown on a nearby dedicated server...
Thanks for your concern...
Sure technicality Sony can do it... But financially, logistically.... Probably not... Also, there's the fact that they AREN'T doing it, which makes your point moot..
So you're saying Crackdown doesn't actually exist and won't be released?
The denial is strong with this one!
You know why! :) ... It's because he's an MS employee... And happens to be the man responsible for turning around a ship that was once doomed...
He says what he thinks fans want to hear, then follows up by doing exactly what he said he would... So in effect, he's doing everything the fans have been wanting him to do... And MS haters can't stand to see it...
