Hardware is ideal, but emulated BC is better than none at all. And it isn't just about playing games that you already own... There are tons of games that folks have missed, I likely would never have played of it weren't for BC...
Your right, not everyone can quickly download games... But you can do it all in the background...
They could save a lot of money buying used PS3 games instead of buying re masters...
Remasters are attractive to publishers because they get to republish a game at full price with relatively minimal effort... converters by them in droves because 1) they didn't get to play them previously, and 2) they don't have any other way to play them...
Backwards compatibility would make reason number 2 false, and as a result, would likely reduce the amount of peo...
I actually like TLG's visuals... Sure there are far more impressive next gen visuals, but the Art, Physics and Animations are just so damn charming...
I get that everyone wants to see hardware pushed to its limits, but I don't think that's the end all be all of visuals...
The tech sounds promising... Hopefully they can improve the FOV
Awesome match! Blue team almost stole it in the end haha
Man, I get giddy just thinking about the prospects of this game mode. Since there are two different ways to win, teams will have to stay on their toes, even with a commanding lead.
And the addition of AI bosses adds another wrinkle to the sandbox. Should you kill the boss and take the points, or use him as bait to pick off the other team as he approaches, while making sure he doesn't kill you... Now the three sided battles that were a staple in the halo campaigns have ma...
Pretty much, this shouldn't need an explanation....
In the game people with mechanical augmentations are being forced into segregation from society and into sub-standard living conditions...
The term mechanical apartheid is pretty damn accurate
Old games and new ones...
Yeah, The graphics look like crap... GameCube level graphics... I know the wii U isn't the most powerful system, but Mario Kart looks great at 720p60fps... There's no reason this couldn't look at least that good.
Well, this feature won't be available publicly until this holiday, so they have plenty of time to meet your demand
I'm honestly didn't think it possible I to spin this news into something negativ...
As if the inclusion of BC somehow signals that MS is not interested in the future... The contrary is cool...
The thing I liked most about the reveal is that new titles will be bundled with old titles from the 360. That way gamers can get caught up on a franchise before they dive into the new game... Also there are ton of 360 games that I always wanted to play, but I g...
The controller looks awesome. The price, while it seems expensive, might be justifiable to a pro player. I heard that with the standard controleler, pros need to replace them every 3 months due to wear and tear... This should be much more durable, and would be cheaper than buying replacements before the year is through.
I just didn't find it fun to watch... The squad commands appear to work very similarly to any other game with squad mechanics... As did the scan mechanic. As did the revive mechanic, I really didn't need those that take so much of the demo time.
I would have rather seen some other the things that make the halo sandbox special. The dynamism, the enemies, the vehicles, etc.
The whole crumbling walkway sequence was useless. Also, They really didn't g...
Halo Warzone looks awesome. I wish 343i would have spent more time with it during the e3 presentation instead of showing that boring campaign segment... (Or picked a better campaign segment)
Why not just use the game chat?
Yeah ok... That's your opinion
My take on it is that they are both clearly inspired by cinema, but Naughty Dog was (again) able to capture that cinematic feel without taking control from the user, which amounts to what looks like far more compelling gameplay.
Naughty Dog has also time and time again demonstrated how to make something that it inherently linear, feel like it's free and open... Something that RAD didn't do, which is IMO to the Order&...
The whole time I was watching the uncharted demo, I kept thinking about RAD and saying to myself "Now THAT'S how you do Cinematic Gameplay!"
No, I think it would mean that the next X1 will be an an Xbox branded, gaming only PC.
Developers wouldn't have to make work as hard to make ports, but would be able to simply optimize their PC code to a single spec..
This is all about getting PC gamers to use the Xbox store so that they can lure publishers to it.
How? It's just more money for the Xbox division. Console gamers will continue to but and play on consoles,., meanwhile PC gamers have a reason to shop in the Xbox store for Windows...
Well, there are hundreds (thousands?) of PS3 games, and only a handful will ever get remastered... With backwards compatibility the number of last ten games that will be playable on the new console has the potential to instantly dwarf the number of games that will get remastered.
In most cases, it wouldn't be about getting the inferior version... It will be the only version that exists...
Why would someone buy the inferior version over a remaster? Because...
