Have you ever been on the internet before?
If the game comes out and it isn't good, folks are definitely going to bring up this comment again...
He's saying its Rare's best game ever... Rare has some great games under their belt... Comments like this breed high expectations...
It's not an MMO... More like a Destiny style shared-world...
That's a pretty bold statement... It's gonna follow him and MS up until the game releases...
Why not just play the co-op mode by yourself? If you feel like you want some friends to join you, send some invites... When you go back to playing alone, they drop out, and you continue on...
How can you suggest this is evidence of anything, when you have no idea what he's pissed about....!
Him not liking his current role in the briefing doesn't mean MS did something shioddy to him...
MS also published Ryse and Dead Rising 3 in addition to Sunset Overdrive... At this point, you can't really call it a rarity.
Why would they need to beta test the offline mode? This isn't a demo, it's a test
So you think they should have spent another 2 years working on it?
If THIS shoulda have been Forza5's target, then Forza 5 would be just getting ready to come out... That means the development time and cost of developing the game would have doubled.
That's not how things work... They need to ship a product in order to make money, so that they can start making the next product...
There was nothing "unfinished" about Forza 5,...
Forza 5 had to happen for this to exist... They made a bunch of decisions that resulted in F5 lacking content, but it allowed them to create the baseline tech that's powering F6 now...
It would be nice you could choose to use in game currency to buy DLC.. It would be a great way to reward the fans who play the most.... But since those are the folks who are usually willing to spend the most money, I don't see many franchises going this route...
That said, fable legends is going to let you buy characters and content with in-game currency... And halo is using microtransactions in one mode, to subsidize free content in the other modes...
So...
If a company signed a deal with Sony to launch on PS first, then the implication is that they were paid for potential loss sales on competing platforms... The idea that a dev in this situation can't afford any new content is a weak on...
If a developer launched on Sony, with no deal in place... Then MS isn't asking for additional content.
Do you know what sloppy seconds means? It's when you 'get some' from someone AFTER someone else had ...
From an action standpoint, it looks a lot like fable 1 - 3... The main difference is the lack of an RPG focus with a total focus on action...
It reminds me of XP grinding with a friend in fable 3... Except this time their are 3 friends... Looks like fun times ahead...
By sloppy seconds I was referring to the developers who made deals with other systems before bringing the game to Xbox... Sloppy seconds, because they 'got into bed' with someone else first...
You're essentially saying the same thing I said... I think that request is reasonable, and the whole issue is overblown.
It's the same thing they've been saying all along... If Xbox is gonna get sloppy seconds, at least throw something on to make the Xbox version unique...
You were the one who said you were 'actually curious' ... I guess that isn't true...
The game is screwed up for a lot of people... Textures don't load, the game crashes, graphical features advertised, don't work, even on the highest end graphics card, framerate issues, etc... So when you come in acting like everything is fine, simply because you haven't had issues, you appear to be a bit of a jerk... And when you say you are curious, but can't aff...
You can easily find out what other people are experiencing with a quick google search
Lionhead debunked this date on Neogaf...
Are the disagrees because I want it to hit Xbox? Or because I was admittedly wrong about the game? This place confuses me sometimes...
Yeah people just need to stop buying them... That will put an end to it.
@dragonddark
Destiny is not an MMO...
