I see all these developer demos running on a pc while trying to convince the lemmings that this is what the game is going to look like on current consoles. Come on. If that was the case, there would be no need to demo your tech on a pc. There is no way MGS V is going to look that good on the 360 or the PS3. Especially not if it's being optimized for the PC and next gen consoles first, and then ported. And since all the tech demos are on a pc, it would seem that is the case.
I really interested to see where Bioware takes this series in the next generation. Should be fantastic.
The last few sentences and the final pic nearly made me fall off my chair laughing. I hope this guy is wrong, but I hate EA, so it wouldn't surprise me at all. I haaaatteee EA. The good doctors sold their souls and rode off into the sunset. Oh well, Mass Effect is still my favorite trilogy of all time, and I am sure I will buy ME4. I hate myself also, apparently.
Give me the Mass Effect series, Uncharted, Metal Gear, Bioshock, Arkham Asylum, etc. etc. over any Cod clone anyday. I will dabble in a great single player games multiplayer just to check it out, but for me the main course will always be a great single player experience. The title of this article is ridiculous. If anything, it should be entitled "In defense of the multiplayer game". Single player games innovate way more than their cut and paste multiplayer component counterparts...
Funny how most alien species in the galaxy are also bi-pedal, walk upright, have two arms, two legs, etc. etc. I'm hoping for more creativity from you Bioware next gen.
I wonder what games will define the direction of the next gen, changing the way we play games the way a cod:modern warfare, gears of war, Mass Effect, Uncharted, etc. etc. did.
Man, I'm really looking forward to The Last of Us and Beyond:Two Souls to end this console generation well.
I'm going with PS4 next gen. Microsoft has shown me enough (or not shown, in the case of games I want to play late this console cycle) for me to be almost certain the Nextbox is not in my future. The technical specs for their next system would have to wow me completely, and according to rumors it is believed the PS4 will actually be a slightly more capable machine. If Sony has the better gaming franchises and the better tech, what am I sticking around for? Kinect? Casual games? Apps...
Aren't people sick of this franchise yet? I know I'm tired of it.
I don't give a crap about Kinect or any other form of motion gaming. Microsoft seems to be missing the objective of a games machine, which is that it requires great games. I'm waiting to see what they will have to say about their next system before I make my final decision, but as someone who currently owns a 360 and a PS3, I'm about 85% sure I'm going with Sony and PS4/PSPlus first(and probably only)next time around. I know they will support the system with games I want to...
The Mass Effect trilogy is my favorite in the history of gaming.
GTA will be awesome, of course. But a new ip from Ubisoft is intriguing. Based on their history, I don't expect them to fumble it, so Watch_Dogs should be phenomenal. Additionally, if it makes it in time for the launch window of the new consoles, it will be one of the first games for the new systems and that adds to it's appeal. A brand new ip for brand new systems. I'm ready right now.

I couldn't disagree with the author of this piece more. The citadel was a fine piece of dlc. Overpriced, yes, but it served it's purpose and one more chance to visit with your squad was the real payoff. I'm looking forward to ME4 and whatever Bioware have in store for the ME galaxy.
