I've been gaming since the days of my youth with Calecovision and Atari. I loved the original NES and Super NES. Nintendo, in my humble opinion, focuses primarily on games for kids and families and don't really give a damn about the "hardcore" gamer. I've outgrown Nintendo. They make billions without the "hardcore". So when Nintendo brings out a console 6 years after the 360 and PS3 debuts that is not a graphical powerhouse and it's base model has just...
If I didn't know what this game was about, this cover does nothing at all to inform me. That is a disappointment. This appears to be very generic and not at all inventive or exciting, which is not at all what we have come to expect from Irrational.
Just one of the many reasons I enjoy a great single player experience over multiplayer any day. I don't want my enjoyment of a game to be ruined by numbskulls who somehow believe that success online means they are somehow successful in life.
So I guess Sony hasn't learned it's lesson. The move integration better be an option, not a requirement for controls, or count me out.
This game probably won't see the light of day till fall 2014 or early 2015. I eagerly anticipate where they will take us next. Mass Effect is my favorite series this gen, on 360 or PS3.
I am more in favor of moving the galaxy forward, as opposed to going back. I would like to see the Mass Effect galaxy possibly interact with neighboring galaxies in the next game. Introduce new species not only in the Milky Way, but in the Andromeda and others as well. Expand the scope. Hopefully that will be possible on the next gen systems. An intergalactic story would be tremendously entertaining. The possibilities for Mass Effect are endless. Whatever direction they choose to go, I will b...
The Last Guardian? You must be joking. That game has taken longer to develop than the Space X Dragon capsule and unlike the capsule this game has little chance of achieving launch ready status.
You've got some disappointment coming your way if you think Tomb Raider will be better than Uncharted.
I don't mind swapping discs, but as an owner of a PS3 and a 360, if the PS3 version is the one that performs better due to the PS3 being the lead platform then GTA V will be the first multiplatform game I buy for my PS3 instead of my 360.
What I'll say is this.... this is nothing new for multiplatform games underperforming on Sony's console. At this point in the PS3's life cycle don't gamers already anticipate this? I own a PS3 and 360 and because of situations like this I haven't bought one multiplatform game for my PS3. Maybe GTA V will be different. I wouldn't hold your breath on that one PS3 only owners. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.
I didn't feel the original ending was sufficient for the story Bioware had crafted over the course of 3 games, but I also felt the backlash over it was ridiculous. ME3 is a fantastic game, but folks were focused solely on the final few minutes and excluding the great gameplay that led to that point in the story. People were calling it a terrible game due to the last few moments. That doesn't make any sense. I also felt the final version of the revised endings were good and I have ...
So what you're saying is raping gamers for 50 bucks annually isn't enough for Microsoft? You want us to pay more for the enjoyment of being bombarded with unwanted advertisements? Not only are you making a killing off advertisers, but you're looking for ways to stick it to xbox live gold members even more? I don't have a problem with Sony or Microsoft trying to increase revenue, but not at the expense of me getting less for the dollars I spend. My concern is what services ...
What?
I know plenty of people that pull all nighters on games, especially when said game is a new release. I could see how a 4 hour battery life would be an inconvenience. Especially when you consider that is an estimation of drain from a full charge. It's going to cost you a pretty penny if you have to replace that controller. Don't drop it, don't spill a drink near it. I have no problem handing a child my 360 or PS3 controller, but I would have serious reservations about letting ...
Gee whiz, I sure hope so. Otherwise, what's the point? I don't see Sony being able to outperform what Microsoft has in the pipeline, however, as Sony is on record stating they are not spending nearly as much in development as they did for the PS3 and they hope to keep the purchase price of the unit down. I'm more concerned with what Sony will offer in online capabilities. Will they go the Microsoft route and charge for online, completely doing away with the free online compone...
Tomb Raider no. 1? Really? Bioshock Infinite or Watchdogs maybe. Where is GTA V? Star Wars 1313? The Last of Us? Metal Gear Solid:Ground Zeroes? God of War:Ascension? Beyond:Two Souls? Splinter Cell:Blacklist? No, no. This list is all wrong.
I will be buying it.
Liara is for me. Don't you dare touch her. That will be your only warning.
I own a 360 and a PS3, but one of these companies better wow me with their next consoles. I'm sick of paying for xbox live gold and the incessant advertisements on the site. If it were free, advertise away. But Microsoft is looting gamers and advertisers and getting away with it. Not so next gen, unless the product they offer is head and shoulders above what Sony comes up with. It's just not worth it anymore.
I'm shocked. This is the first port I've seen perform poorly on the PS3.
