Watch_Dogs has a chance to be spectacular, but at this point all of it is just hope. GTA has an established history of awesomeness. Hopefully Ubisoft can deliver on the Watch_Dogs franchise as they have with others in their impressive roster. I will be buying a PS4 and Watch_Dogs as soon as they become available, that is for dead sure. I'm also looking forward to The Last of Us, Beyond:Two Souls, and GTA V of course.
Lair of the Shadow Broker.
The Mass Effect 2 "fight for the lost" trailer was excellent. And Gears of War Mad World. And also, by the way, the Old Republic trailer is perhaps the best thing to exist in the entirety of mankind's history. Except for twizzlers.
If this turns out to be true, then it's just laziness. Way to innovate, Microsoft. I like the controller, but to not improve it in any discernible way for the next gen would be saying it is perfect as is, and it is not. What does it matter anyway? With their focus on Kinect and casual gaming, I lost interest long ago. PS4 looks like the way to go thus far, we shall see how Microsoft responds. But Sony has game franchises I want, no need, to play while Microsoft seems more focused on...
You're being a simplistic tool. Nobody would begrudge a company making money. There is however, an obvious difference between profitability and greed. And if consumers believe a company is gouging them, said company will suffer the ramifications of their policies in the future.
This headset is cheaply made garbage. I made the mistake of buying one and within one month had to ship it back to turtle beach because the bass blew one of the speakers and I didn't even have the bass turned up halfway during my play sessions. They sent me a new pair and within four months a problem developed with the cord where the sound would cut in and out and stopped working after another week. Cheap garbage. Save your money and get a better headset.
By the way, do the math on 46 million subscriptions and assume they get about 50 bucks annually on each and ask yourself how greedy are the bastards by additionally charging advertisers and bombarding gamers with ads. Fuck Microsoft.
Good for them. As for me, I'm a PS3 and 360 owner who currently pays for live and enjoys Ps online for free. But when my current live subscription runs out, I'm done with Microsoft. It will be PS4 and PS plus for me next gen. Sick of Microsoft's B.S. late this console cycle. Sony seems to be on the ball with the directions of the PS4 and I'm not liking the rumors concerning the Nextbox at all.
I'm really hoping this game doesn't disappoint. I'm really looking forward to it.
I'm confused...this author is saying Uncharted 2 isn't a good game? Wow. What a tool.
When I think of my favorite games this generation and the games I'm most looking forward to, they are dominated by single player experiences. Mass Effect series, Uncharted series, MGS4, God of War 3, Watch Dogs, Beyond:Two Souls, The Last of Us, Bioshock, Bioshock Infinite, GTA IV and V, etc. etc. Single player is excelling, it's the multiplayer component of most games that leave alot to be desired and need innovation and fresh ideas.
I'm intrigued.
You can't please some people. Offer them an awesome service that offers far more than the competition at a competitive price and they still find ways to be miserable over it. The reason they offer these games (with the publishers consent) is because sales have slowed to a crawl and by offering them free, they know people will download and perhaps purchase items via micro transactions, therefore earning the companies some money on titles that have run their sales course through tradition...
My sweet, sweet, sickly Tali.
Looking forward to this game at E3, but also other games for the ps4/nextbox that have yet to be announced. What game is going to be to 2013's E3 what Watch_Dogs was to 2012's?
No. The original Gears of War and the first Modern Warfare changed the way developers make games this generation more than the Uncharted series has.
I wouldn't mind a Mass Effect where we are on a ship with many other galactic races, exploring a galaxy beyond the Milky Way, perhaps Andromeda seeing it is our neighbor, and encountering and interacting with all new species, some hostile, some not. I would enjoy this type of exploration and discovery. It was part of what made the first Mass Effect the best story of the three games, though it did not have the best gameplay. I loved both ME2 and ME3, but in saying that I would like to s...
I enjoyed ME1, 2, and 3. Love the trilogy. And I will be buying Mass Effect 4. There are millions of others who feel the same way I do about the series. So despite all the whining from gamers, Bioware is doing something right.
Multiplayer is for the unthinking, mindless drones. A great single player is for the intelligent gamer who wants an adventure, not some unending fragfest.
Somebody should introduce this guy (and some posters on this site) to the wheel, antibiotics, the transistor, the computer, electric generators, the steam engine, plumbing and sewage systems, the airplane, the automobile, the telephone, the cellular phone, the television etc. etc. etc. Stupid is as stupid does.
