Man, I can't wait for E3! I'm really looking forward to seeing the new Ip's Sony and Microsoft will be trotting out. I'm also looking forward to maybe seeing teaser's for the next versions of Uncharted or God of War on the PS4.

Headblackman, if you actually believe the cloud is going to give more processing power to a device, I've got a bridge I'd like to sell you.

The new controller is the only thing that I have found interesting to date about the Xbox One.

Nobody is "underestimating" anything. Microsoft has not delivered the goods for several years now. What gamers were waiting for was a sense that the company would speak to the hardcore that they have abandoned late this console cycle. Their conference only verified what every hardcore gamer realized long ago...Microsoft has gone soft. Kinect focus, TV focus, mainstream focus. All while taking more and more money and offering only ads and apps, no games. No thanks. PS4 engineer...

Yes. And a Pagani Huayra isn't THAT much faster than a Ford Mustang.

People like this should just crawl into a corner and die. If you don't have anything credible to say, just keep your mouth shut. You only prove yourself a buffoon by opening it.

I think this article should be titled, "How gamers will destroy Microsoft if they fail the industry." That would be far more accurate. Gaming is bigger than any one company.

Xbox execs and pr peeps went to Mushmouth's school of jargon and elocution. Way to muddle your message, Microsoft. Great job. If that's the best they could come up with months after Sony's presentation, that may signify their difficulties more than anything else. They don't know who or what their target audience is anymore. Because they sure as hell weren't speaking to gamers with that presentation. And 8gb of ddr3 ram with 3 of that dedicated to the OS and functions...

Well, you say both systems still have a lot of question marks, I say they have a few. But the specs for both are known, and the rumors about those specs turned out to be true. PS4 wins that battle. Games? Again, PS4 has better first party franchises to fall back on, and given Microsofts presentation they don't appear to be giving priority to the hardcore. I highly doubt that Microsofts "exclusives" will blow us away. I fully expect Sony to impress us at E3 with their gamin...

Your head looks flat. As does your scrotum. Now crawl back to that PC you love so much and die on it.

Microsoft is thinking they will get fools to buy the console. The kind of fools who don't realize that everything they displayed is already available to be done with apps for your tv or tablet. Fools and their money are soon parted. Gamers are not generally fools (???), so I can't imagine many that are going to buy a system that sacrifices it's hardware for functions other than, you know, playing games. For Microsoft to lead with what they did at their reveal shows where their...

I love how PC gamers continually claim the games they play now look better than what the next gen systems have to offer. Really? Because I have yet to see something available on PC that blows me away and makes me think I'm missing out on something. Not one thing. I'm looking forward to Sony and to a lesser degree Microsoft's consoles because of their franchises, not because the product will offer photorealism. I want my gaming experiences to be entertaining. I still get a ki...

Unless Microsoft brings stunning new games to E3 (highly doubtful) this system could be dead in the water with gamers. There is no question I'm picking up a PS4. I'm still on the fence about the Xbox One, but Microsoft is trying very hard to push me clearly over to the "no" side of the fence. I am not impressed by one thing they have shown thus far. They have made a tactical error in the design of their console and how it's memory and capabilities will be utilized. ...

Those "exclusives" Microsoft claims to have to show at E3 better be gangbusters or they are dead in the water because I'm sure Sony is going to rock E3 with their games presentation. If I see dancers and celebs at the Xbox one presentation at E3, I'm officially tuning out to any more info on the console. Microsoft will have shown me more than enough to know I'm no longer interested.

You didn't mention the best part, which is the inevitable price increase for your Xbox live subscription. And more ad bombardment. You have to laugh. Or cry. You decide. Me, I've already decided. I've decided that Microsoft's insistence on reaching into my pockets to steal money while not delivering any games I want late in this console cycle is unacceptable. My PS3 gets all of my gaming time right now, and I will not be renewing my live subscription. PsPlus kicks it&#...

MikeMyers is seemingly yet another individual that doesn't understand that a reveal event is not the time or place to lay all of your cards on the table. Sony's press conference was good, Microsoft's was not about gaming so I don't even rate it. We will know more about both after E3. Can't wait.

These so-called writers make me laugh. The global economy is in a downturn and they somehow expect gaming to be immune to it? Is gaming any different than any other consumerable item that faces difficulties when the markets suffer? C'mon people. Gaming is a form of entertainment that millions of people enjoy. Downturns are a part of the system, it happens. That does not mean gaming is dying, much like it does not mean the automobile is dying when gas prices go up. People adjust the...

The problem with "evolving beyond gaming" is you're forgetting who and what made you successful in the first place. And what and how you're trying to evolve is already being done by others in a form factor (tablets and smartphones) that are more convenient to use in the home and are portable to boot. Good luck with that. If you think I'm going to waste my time yelling at my kinect over the booming sounds of my games and movies while I can have better functionality and...
