My bigger issues this gen are the studio closures, layoffs, cancelled games, and the lack of Sony first party releases, and little news on what those studios are working on. This gen overall has been a damp squib.
The Helix will launch at a very reasonable 2.2 million dollars US. The PS6 will retail for slightly less than that.
I bought the pro for 699 in 2024....these tech prices are going through the roof....it's insane. I bought a ps5, ps5 pro, and series x this gen. With the current direction of the industry, with all the game cancellations, studio closures, layoffs, and really lack of releases that I would be interested in from the studios I love, I may be done buying consoles. That is sad for me to say because I have bought almost every console imaginable since the days of the NES. Sad times we're living in.

How about trying to develop the next unique franchise as Horizon was instead of trying to desperately milk what Horizon has become?

I can't believe where the hardware prices have gone this gen. I got a ps5 and series x at launch and later gave my ps5 to my niece and nephew and bought a pro and somehow with the state of things I feel like it was worth it. All the hardware I bought is more expensive than when I bought it. Crazy times.
Why would I believe anything coming from xbox that involves games or studios. I wouldn't. If it ain't AI, they Ain't Interested.
