from what I played in the beta; but it is a damn fine game, and one that I'll be purchasing the day it comes out. This is the game that will kick down the door and usher in a fall full of great PS3 gaming.
I agree with others that said it seems identical with the ps3 version being a bit smoother. Guess when I'm driving around the track I'm not stopping to count the blades of grass...
I hope they also plan on doing a proper hardback artbook as well. I'd buy that for sure, the art direction for this game is great.
But I can't help but wonder how well it's going to be received by most consumers.
I hope this does as well in stores as it has with critics, but there's a part of me that thinks it won't sell like it really deserves to.

I'm going to have to choose what games to buy this year, less because of money and more because I simply won't have the time to play them all. At least this will make the annual post-holiday drought that much easier to deal with.
they reneged on that whole "do no evil" idea they had. this definiltely makes me second guess the idea of DLC from both Sony and MS though, let alone any other companies. Hell, it makes the technology included with both BluRay and HDDVD a bit sketchy as well.

It seems to start right at the same place the actual game will; not going to get any spoilers, but it will make the first 15-20 minutes a bit redundant. Especially if you're like me and you play it several times in a row...
Also, someone elsewhere pointed out the fact that XBL is getting this demo tomorrow in Europe. Anyone think that this ps3 demo news could be a miscommunication?

Delayed... again. I think they are really pushing to try and get it out for the holidays, but I'm really doubting they'll be able to get it together by then. If they still release this in November, I'm predicting some reviews making liberal use of phrases relating to "unpolished and unfinished".
