yeah, that's basically what I was saying. You've played well over twice the games I have in Halo3, and played about 2437 more games of Halo2 than myself. Assuming each of those games lasted an average of 10 minutes, you've played Halo2 and 3 for nearly 18.5 days straight. That's right, I'm a geek as well as a noob.

is that even as a decent gamer, when dropped into a map or mode that I don't know at all it's incredibly hard to learn because I just spend the whole game getting killed. Sure you can learn as you go, and it just takes a lot of practice and sticking it out, but that doesn't mean it's not frustrating along the way. I've said it before about the game; it's built entirely for the people who eat, sleep and breathe Halo.

but there isn't any way to buy one at any Best Buy or WalMart on the west side of Denver; seems they don't even have them in stock. I went to the Best Buy at Denver West, and the girl there pulled up the inventory for every store in the city; there were two in stock out in Aurora, all the way across town, and that's it. I called several WalMart stores, and as that's always a trying experience I gave up after the 4 I know of didn't have any.

Too bad(?) the only difference seems to be some really bad filters being applied. Doesn't look like they actually cut anything, they just obscured it. Just like any other half-hearted censorship job, it doesn't really make a f**king difference, you still know exactly what is there.

I'm worried about this title on BOTH consoles. It looked and sounded really promising for a long time, but after the E3 showing it's been worrying. I preordered it on amazon many months ago, but at this point; lets just say I'm hoping for some reviews before the release date.
seen the commercial for the Simpsons game that only shows the ps2, ps3 and psp boxes, and ends with the Playstation logo at the end? They may be running multiple versions with different consoles represented, but I thought that was a pretty big step for Sony since they obviously had to pay for it...
which is more than I can say for Microsoft's movie service, and doubt I'll use what Sony offers. I seriously doubt either of them would do it for so many reasons... but I like the idea.

It may not be quite as good as a Pixar movie, but considering that every single scene from those movies are framed, polished and treated as traditional film, what's being accomplished now with gaming in general is incredible, and this is the best looking game with a cartoon style out there so far.

since developers could focus on one platform, the platform itself would stagnate. What would be the reason to bring out a new system, to drop prices, to... compete? There is far too much money in this industry these days for any one manufacturer to control the hardware, and somehow I just don't see Nintendo, Sony and MS teaming up and agreeing on one platform. Their "cultures" are all far too different from each other for it to be a truly successful partnership.

Chances are whoever designed the ad doesn't even know anyone from Team ICO; let alone what any details from the next game are. Entirely different departments, and possibly even companies...
