Good thing we can play games we buy more than once. Hell, I've been thinking about making another run through Gears just for kicks. If the gameplay is great, I personally don't care if it's a little short.
Now, to finish Bioshock before Heavenly Sword steals away my freetime...
are well deserved, it's a great game. Now that the rank issues seem to be solved, and since I'm sure we'll see more official servers soon, it's definitely a title every ps3 owner should be playing.
Here's to it's success bringing us more maps and perhaps even a couple more vehicles...
to how big this little "hobby" so many of us have enjoyed for years is getting. And I've gotta admit, a tiny bit of those millions is mine.
You know, one of the latest groups to sign on with BluRay, is likely to release several movies from HD-DVD exclusive studios as well... like Universal. It's not a dirty little secret, it's business.
-edit- gotta love the disagreers. Here's a link from their site to just one movie they'll likely release, if not in the states then elsewhere. Recognize it? http://www.studiocanal.com/...
and other than not finding the button for the damn elevator to go find Cohen, no problems at all. Ran the update immediately before starting tonight as well.
to see if the framing issue was indeed present; at least on my setup, it certainly it is. Then I had to stop and ask myself, did I notice it the first time I watched the BluRay disc? Nope. Is it present throughout the whole movie? Nope.
In the end, does this sort of thing matter to anyone but the most anal of videophiles? Nope.
Considering how long this disc has been out, I'd say that it's not a big problem for most people. Otherwise, we would have heard about it long a...
I've read review after review complaining about this game.. then I keep hearing from gamers, including people I actually know, that it's fun and they like it. Is this title really that polarizing, or what's the deal? Is this all due to the hype that was built up around it?
I'm looking forward to playing this game just so I can form my own opinions about it. At the very least it'll look good for the time it takes to come to a conclusion, even if it is that the game is terrible. ...
I wonder what a copy of Halo3 would fetch on ebay right now...
No freezes, no disconnects. A complete 180 from when I first played in the Beta, good lord that was frustrating. I don't think these issues are currently widespread enough to count as an issue with the game itself...
This will certainly give HDDVD a boost, but I can't help but think that many consumers are going to see the brand name "Venturer" and have the same reaction I did; who?
I'm sure plenty of people, especially those who love to shop at WalMart won't give a damn, but if this was a big name, or even a recognizable one, I would be more worried for BluRay. Right now... I'll be interested to see how big of an impact this actually has.
If they have the features Phil showed at E3 ready to go, it should be fine. I was surprised to read about how limited the beta is as far as options though, guess I'd just figured they would have been implementing more of the "final" features into the beta.
has to be some sort of satire... but satire is also meant to be funny. This is just stupid.
I honestly couldn't tell you, but as PS-Wii-60 points out it was on the Enchanted Arms box as well, so...
It says it right at the top; please forgive the blurry picture, but you can definitely see it.
just at it was in the beta... probably a 7.5. I'm assuming we'll see more maps with the retail release though, and that would be my main complaint about what I've already seen. Add another 5 or so maps right off the bat with the promise of more to come and I'd bump it up to a 8 for sure.
I honestly don't think this is a 9+ game, but on fun-factor alone it's worth purchasing.
I'm assuming this will be one of the biggest complaints we'll hear, so I'll address it; I don't ...
of why I don't listen to reviewers. I loved the beta, and would buy this game even if every review from here on out gave it low scores.
Hannah Montana: Music Jam is on there for a good, good reason.
I'll go ahead and continue to not hold my breath on this rumour. Not as persistent as the MGS4 on 360 stories, but just about as likely at this point.
meet Fan.
Talk about huge developments, this is a big coup for HDDVD. If it's only for one year it might not make a difference in the long run, but this will definitely help to guarantee another year of this format war.
Sony forcing it's format on consumers, or putting their money where their mouth is? Guess it depends on which side of the fanboy format war you stand on.
