Second screen apps, weather they are Xbox Smartglass, the PS4, or any of the other upcoming individual games apps may not be necessary. But that doesn't make them useless. These things are in their infant stages too. Give devs some time and I'm sure they will come up with some great stuff.
How many things would we be without if we all listened to the detractors that want to write off ideas as useless and unnecessary right from the start. We would probably still be in...
If you just read the developers quotes and ignore the writers commentary, you get a pretty standard picture of the games design process. Move along, nothing to see but another silly fan war.
Only if the guy with the crazy hair from AA is a playable character.
Ripoff would be the wrong word to use. As long as they deliver as advertised they are not a ripoff. Are they worth the money? Sure, sometimes. After all, these are for the collector or the fan who desires such things. The average joe might not have any desire for this stuff so the value to dollar amount might not be worth it. I think most CE editions are in the ballpark of reasonable pricing for what you get in them, if you are inclined to buy such things.
There are numerous times conservative types are marked as well. There is no bias. This equally pokes fun at everyone and everything.
There is tons of content always coming out for Home, but its mostly all stuff from companies like Lockwood that just make Home stuff. I miss the days when there were more game themed areas, items, and events that coincide with game releases. I think there is still a lot of upside to Home.
Well as I said I was referring to the comments on the article, not anyones here. My point was aimed at critics of whatever strategy MS took, not at the tastes or desires of the Japanese people itself.
Its always going to be next to impossible for Xbox in Japan. But I find it funny that so many people on the article would just say things like MS should just forget about Japan or not even release there. If they did that there would be a whole new set of articles condemning them for not releasing there or saying how arrogant they are for thinking they don't need Japan. Either way its an uphill battle for MS there.
Wait, you are telling me there is an issue where everyone took one side of the story and blew it up into a big deal. Then everyone to find out later that all the facts may not have all been accurate? And even though things may be getting sorted out and resolved, it can't reverse all the negative blogs, reports, and comment bickering that went on. I would never suspect that would happen on the internet.
When Sony introduced the analog sticks they were rarely used and were just added to open space on the controller. The controller has been mostly the same going in the 4 generation of it now. No need to change it.
These symmetry ideas are ridiculous. The sticks and your hands my be symmetrical, but your use of controls during the game are not. Most games you will use left stick and buttons first, but throughout the game you thumbs will also engage the right stick and dpad. ...
If people think this is a spoiler they need to stay in bed and hide under the covers because everything in life is a spoiler then.
Are people really arguing about names this much? Almost all product names suck when you first hear them. You get used to them, then it becomes hard to think of that product being named anything but that. People are really scrapping the bottom of the barrel in fan wars here.
This looks more like Splashdown from Rainbow Studios that came out on the Xbox and PS2. That's a game I would love to have an updated version of....just not a Kinect version.
My favorite part..."you threatened to give out my PUBLIC information". This guy was a complete jerk. Other than being a smartass, its all on this guy. Everyone likes to complain about employees yet forget about how many awful customers are out there. Having spent a few years in retail management, this happens all to often.
People put too much faith in early pre-order numbers and think that will hold true over the life of the cycle. Down the road many people will buy a second console helping to even out the numbers. Look at last gen. Gaming at the end of the generation was nothing like it was at the start. So much can change in a few years. Both will be great consoles. One of course will be ahead of the other, but that doesn't make the other a failure. Lets just all wait and see what both companies bring us ...
This is like people watching movies who want to pick apart everything that may not be possible in real life. If I want to be confined by reality, I'll go outside my house. I don't mind when things go beyond our own limits in a fictional game or movie. But this is COD, so a large segment of people will complain about something just because its COD.
Your gun argument sounds familiar to that of your countryman Piers Morgan. Of course in theory, less guns means nobody gets shot. That's a limited view on things. What about the people who defend themselves? What about the stolen and illegal guns. What about all the other people murdered by things other than guns? How does that help them. That violent crime rate sure skyrocketed in England once guns were banned. 10x more people use guns for defense each year than are killed by them. But ...
A week? Really. A console cycle that can last anywhere from 5-10 years and we are going to worry about a week? People that are buying either console will already have their mind made up. That week will be negligible in the long matters. It only matter with media hype. Microsoft going second in the will actually cut into some of the PS4 hype when it release, but the PS4 will in turn do the same thing a week after that in the rest of the territories. It all evens out. Will will mater is the sto...
@angeljuice Okay, so you are not on twitter. Thats also lot of stereo-typical assumptions you make there. Clearly your information is lacking and your statements going along with the mainstream sheep thought. the Any further dialog with you would be pointless. Good day.
It would look rather ugly sitting in your living room. But I wouldn't complain if I won one.
