I would love another Power Stone game, it was a lot of fun. I would put Killer Instinct Gold on this list in the top spot, personally.
I really hope they get this out for holiday launch this year. It looked amazing all the way back in March when I got to see it.
This is my most highly anticipated game release right now on PC.
so many great gaming hours for $7.50. I bought Borderlands day 1 on 360 and every DLC at each launch for $10 a pop. I spent $100 total and feel like I still got my money's worth.
At $7.50 you should be ashamed if you don't buy in and check it out. :)
I was hoping for one back at PAX East when I got to check it out and a bit of hands on, then E3, then Gamescom and now PAX at the end of the month.
I am more than ready for them to stop convincing me to buy it and actually give me the date as to when I can actually do so.
Bioware.
Bring back Minsc!
Enough messing around with the "spiritual successor to Baldur's Gate" now we can have the actual successor.
It is good if you like the genre and now that you can practice in the tutorial and bot matches the learning curve isn't as punishing if you have never played a DoTA style game.
Free is free give it a shot. You can open up characters as you go along without ever spending money as long as you have the patience to do it that way. There are a lot of 450/1350 IP champions to play that you can stockpile pretty quickly.
If you do get into it try to find the reta...
Unfortunately, I doubt it. The head of Volition and person who created and "drove the bus" on Red Faction since the beginning quit right before RF:A launched. Red Faction is going to be a dormant franchise for a long time if not dead permanently.
It is a shame, really, the first 2 RF games were among my favorites in their time and Guerrilla was woefully under-marketed and the very underrated MP suffered for it. Then they went an entirely different direction for Arma...
he is solving the storage by putting on 3 DVDs, 21GB install (but not required). It is just as easy to wonder how he is going to get around the slow read speed on a BR disk, with a giant mandatory PS3 install.
Both formats have their challenges. 1 gets disk swaps, the other gets a read speed that limits texture streaming and the ability to play direct from disk.
That youtube video has everyone convinced so fast. Yes, it renders in atoms on a tiny island level with limited art, and how exactly are those atoms going to be animated or rendered in a game sized level/world? That tech will be used for data storage and architectural design but it will take a long long time before it ever is used in making a feature game. A few more years for the tech to even release (if ever), then half a decade of development (at least)
it is a short hitseeking quote and title from a 20 minute interview after a 90 minute keynote that talked about the development of RAGE and his new engine.
Blame the author not the genius.
yeah, that is why I posted it. They bought Free Radical and there have been rumors about a new TS game for like a year.
Killer Instinct, but it will probably never happen because Rare is a shadow of its former self.
That is only a matter of time, Crytek seems to be very interested in bringing that series back.
the mapmaker is such an underrated part of the TS series. It is among my favorite shooters ever and probably my favorite PS/PS2 era shooter (the other in the running would be Red Faction and Black).
I really can't wait to see a new one, Timesplitters and Killer Instinct are the two franchises I want to see revived most, and I have basically given up all hope of Rare making a new KI.
...until now.
There is nothing to stop any new player from instant gearing themselves with the best gear available if they don't mind wasting a few hundred dollars. Now at any level you can have a competitive advantage for a monetary investment.
This is terrible news for anyone who was interested in any type of PVP in Diablo 3.
I really just want a release date already. The game looked and played amazing back at PAX East in March when I got a bit of hands on with it, they should at least have an idea or release window in mind. "When it is ready" is nice for getting a good product out but it doesn't help me plan what games to buy and still try to keep a reasonable gaming budget. Between this and Diablo 3 I feel like I am sitting waiting for games that could have been released early this year still and t...
They are adding Cloud saves to XBL so it likely has to do with that.
Planescape: Torment doesn't make the top 70? It is in my top 5 ever.
Old school Bard's Tale and D&D styled games (Eye of the Beholder, etc) are better than more than half of the stuff up there.
I think they mean it will be free to download and have permanently for the first two weeks and anyone who didn't get it in those two weeks will have to pay for it beyond that point. I can't see it being a two week free DLC trial.
Did that list really need to be broken down into 26 "mini-articles"? Talk about hunting for refreshes and ad hits...
I would have actually liked to check out the list and maybe find a few new sites but I am not clicking next 25 times.
