Nope, they want the loot drive to be more of a factor so the only customization you can add to your guns is extended ammo. They made the decision for the game to always be about the next gun, not the one you are using basically.
I totally agree about the length, that should be one of their first concerns. I rented the first game and barely got my money's worth. Besides, he is just flat out wrong about the number of guns anyway anyway.

I don't know if I would classify it as a Fallout Killer, it is a completely different feel to the game. Fallout is RPG with shooting elements, Borderlands is FPS with RPG elements.
There is co-op, 4 player online, system link, and vertical split screen couch co-op.

The headline is way misleading on the article. When you read it he talks about how he trusts valve but it must be hard for developers in general to. They worked with Valve before on Half Life iirc.

It is actually estimated at around 17 million now. That is almost 6 times more awesome.
To get 1000/1000 on this game looks like it is going to take a lot of time. It seems at least 2 full playthroughs and then a bunch of other characters. Thankfully I am not really a gamerscore focused person in general.
I am sure I will be dabbling in all the classes, origins, and good and evil decisions as I go along with the game anyway so I guess most of them will come on their own.

Just because you rank cool looking first in loot selection doesn't mean everyone else does or that Gearbox missed the boat on the loot.

I think it depends on how close you are to a shipping center. Netflix has tons of centers and Gamefly only has a handful. I get my Netflix back the day after I send one out, every time. Gamefly takes 2 days out, a day or so for processing (sometimes a bit longer), and 2 days back. If I send a game out on Monday morning I have one back by the weekend 90% of the time.

The amount of guns is nice but I find the chance of having a game that actually finds a good balance between FPS and RPG more exciting.

I hope this game reviews as glowingly as the previews have gone. A hybrid/niche game really needs good reviews to make it. With the mass amount of games this fall I just hope it doesn't get lost in the shuffle.

Yeah, I would love to see a new KI or even KI gold or KI2 on some kind of download. Since MS owns rare now I always have hope that they will put it out on XBLA. Probably wishful thinking though.
