I do agree that the rest of the presentation was just okay like a lot of other presentations this year, but yeah, at least we got some "Oh S***" moments towards the end once it was all Sony games.
I have a feeling we'll see Factions by the end of the year as well.
Despite some issues (too much third party stuff), it's the only gaming press conference this year that brought any huge hype. E3 was quite poor and lacked any megatons.
Wolverine, Spider-Man 2, Ragnorok and KOTOR brought the hype. GT7 looks pretty good as well.
Yeah, the Insomniac ones do. My main point is just that The Amazing-Spiderman games were missing such a crucial feature which even a game in early development had.
Radical's games were usually very fun as well. What a shame.
It saddens me that we never got Spider-Man 4. The Amazing Spider-Man movies were a waste of time.
And maybe Radical Entertainment would still be in business if this game released. It's funny that this footage seems to have physics-based webslinging which the The Amazing Spider-Man games lacked.

Nope, it was studio that typically worked as a support team that was working on TLOU1 remake.
Bend are working on their own game. Before that, I think they were assisting with an Uncharted game and Factions multiplayer.
I think it's too late for that since they're under the Codemasters banner now. Tbh, they probably like being under a dedicated racing company ... although it is owned by EA now. haha.
Maybe they could create another company like Zipper, hire some of those guys again, and make a new Socom or a successor to MAG? I feel like there's more of a market for persistent versions of those games now.
I think Austin Evans should run his tests again with this one in mind, and admit he's wrong if they match this guy's results.
Tbh, I also think games media should have waited for Digital Foundry to do a test before writing articles definitively stating that the new PS5 is "WORSE!"

The audio in Far Cry 2 was very atmospheric but it had a fairly big issue: you're hearing a lot of animals in the background which you quickly realize are not actually in the game.
Over time that lowers the immersion because it's so obviously fake and the audio loses much of its effect. Just like you have no fear of getting attacked by a crocodile when you jump in the water since they're missing.
I would like to see a modern, proper next gen F...

"Come on, Regnorok is giving hype like 4 years in a row." GOW (2018) only came out 3 years ago and Ragnorok's existence was only revealed less than 12 months ago. What are you talking about?
