I've bought almost no Ubisoft games for the last 5 years but I was going to buy Riders Republic. Now they're probably going to patch this nonsense into the game. And the worst part is eventually there will be morons arguing with us that Ubisoft need to do NFTs to pay for servers and feed families or something.
The "It's just cosmetics!" crowd made all this so much easier to pull off. They wouldn't listen to common sense. "Give them an inch and...

Busted, dead to rights. lol.
You had a similar outburst because I mentioned that GT Sport had server issues at launch because I just didn't want GT7's campaign to require an internet connection. You called me a liar. haha. You were irrationally...
@dylanj
You write in a very particular way. I know I've already argued with you before but you're using a spam account that you just created today. You were arguing with me about a very particular aspect of GT Sport. lol.
I've already left a reply about this.

Are you claiming fake news because it will be free there ... starting Thursday instead of Tuesday? ...
They should have just secured the PS5 version of Mortal Shell (a much better game than Godfall), got a different PS4 game and most people would be happy with this month.
Nobody even wanted Godfall. It's the worst rated PS5 game of 2020, and the Challenger Edition tries to get you to buy the full game because it's just a glorified demo that's available for free on the Epic Game Store.
It would be one thing if the PS4 Pro version of Mortal Shell...
I feel like these basic modes should have been there for launch, but at least some player's worst fears of having to wait until the end of the first season for this stuff isn't true.
Have they ever said anything about adding in new maps over the next few months?
I remember years ago on KindaFunny, Andrea Renee said something like "EA need micro-transactions to pay workers so they can feed their families, and to invest in amazing new IP." It's really disgusting how disconnected a lot that sort of coverage was from reality. Greed is just greed.
COD makes $3 billion a year (more than Avatar and Endgame). Firing these employees is just taking advantage of a lack of workers protections to bag a small amount of extra profit...
Yeah, you can't currently buy a PS5 or Series X but I can easily buy a Series S right now on Amazon UK with no issues and it's like this all the time.

Really miss this franchise. The first Jak & Daxter game I played was Jak 2 but I'm happy I played The Precursor Legacy a few years later as well. Kept an open mind and loved it almost as much as 2 and 3. Very important games in my childhood.
They should have ported the Bluepoint PS3 versions to the PS4. On a positive note, that port of Jak X that ran terribly on PS4 has no issues on PS5. haha. Had a blast playing it last year.
There is no correlation. He genuinely thinks being woke makes Sony greedy, as opposed to the obvious - they're a corporation with an obligation to make as much money as possible for its shareholders.
Also, his comments are very strange:
- "Men and women cannot work together."
- "Women & men have clearly proven that they are incapable of working alongside each other."
- "Calling it now - At some point, a few years f...
I'm not going to redeem it either, tbh. It's a bad game anyway so most of us we're probably never going to play it after redeeming it, and I don't want to encourage Sony to allow any more glorified demos like this on PS Plus.
No one here is being entitled. Sony said we'd get a PS5 game every month, and this Challenger Edition is just a demo (the campaign is removed) to try sell the actual game which isn't good.
There's nothing wrong with having standards. If you look through my comments this year, I was heavily praising PS Plus because I was being honest then and I'm being honest now. In the past, they wouldn't even allow a game this bad on there, evening guaranteeing a Metac...
Considering that Godfall Challenger Edition is just a glorified demo for a bad game, and we're not getting Judgement either, Mortal Shell better have the free PS5 upgrade for us at least.
The Last Of Us Remastered did have the multiplayer though and was actually necessary for PS4 owners to be able to play it. I have no problem with that remaster.
This is missing the multiplayer and they could easily patch the PS4 versions to 60fps like TLOU2 and loads of other Sony games.
The PS4 Pro version is already 1440p - the same resolution as the PS5 version in Performance Mode if I'm remembering DF correctly. They should do the right thing and ...
Looks like they plan on patching the Switch version next year.
Feel bad for people who bought this. When Dice said they didn't even understand why people loved Bad Company 2 back in 2014, I had a bad feeling this franchise was going to decline in quality.
That being said, I don't think they even had enough time to make this. 2 years max of proper development on this version of the game. They were releasing DLC for BF5 last year and we know that they wasted a lot of their development trying to make a Battle Royale game.

Bioshock 1 is my favourite but I like Infinite a lot as well. I think I should replay it because the last time I played it was on the PS3 which probably undersold it.
I suppose my main reasons would be that the first game has a lot of horror, I prefer the atmosphere of Rapture, the intro sequence is perfect and they should have kept the weapon wheel and some other cut mechanics.
I think Elizabeth is a great character though and I appreciate that they trie...
The PS4 also had a huge lead on the PS3 at this point.
Does the author have stock in Ubisoft, or does Ubisoft have a gun to his head? Those are the things that came to mind while reading this puff piece.
He portrays this move as incredibly pro-consumer and that the negative reaction is unfair - we're basically too dumb to realize the brilliance of NFTs infesting video-games.
"Ubisoft is a behemoth in the gaming world. Top tier. As good as it gets." lol. Not anymore.
