Why are MS hesitant to just say "Yep. it's an Xbox exclusive"?
It's a bit strange, and makes me think that they've made an offer to Sony to port the game to PS5, but only if Sony allow GamePass on Playstation ... which Sony probably won't allow.

Thanks for the reply. This one seems a lot less expensive (around half the price) than some of the other adaptors I've seen, and has good reviews. Cool.

They're weird, tbh. The jet pack is still in the game, so why remove the cheat?
If spawning the jet pack in the open world caused some sort of glitch and they skipped fixing it, that's not really acceptable.

I let one of my friends play MGS1 on a PSTV I got for free ages ago, and he loved it so much that he begrudgingly bought a PS3 to play the rest of the series (justified it slightly through platinum hunting, haha). His first console was a PS2. I personally don't think that any of the games you listed would have the same effect on most people.

Yeah, a lot people genuinely hated this game when it came out because they wanted something else (more MGS1 but better). It's kind of crazy to think about when you look at well it still holds up 20 years later across the board. I do prefer MGS1's setting, music and especially the bosses and main villain but MGS2 is great.

True, but it has already been more than 8 years and if the rumours of them recently restarting development on GTA6 are true, it will launch more than 10 years after GTA5.
It's not because talent left, it's because they outsourced it and rushed it for the 20th anniversary of GTA 3.
The 2013 remaster was worse and came out in the same year as GTA5. lol. Then they made Red Dead Redemption 2.

These games are shorter now because you can retry the mission without needing to drive all the way back to the mission marker.
They're still amazing games. Saints Row 1 (2006) didn't even come out in the same gen as these games (2001, 2002, 2004) on the 360, and most people would still rather play them than SR1 because they're just that good.
I've never liked how overused the rose-tinted glasses argument is. Millions of people still play these games for a reason. You could more easily use the same argument against Saints Row - it was quite generic compared to Grand Theft Auto until ...

Why would Rockstar not list all the songs that they actually have in the Definitive Edition? That's just very strange. Now people are speculating that certain songs are missing even though they're not.
I suppose most people who played B2 never played the DLCs (look at trophy and achievement statistics). It's for that audience to make it easier to prepare them for Wonderlands.
