Another spam account made just an hour ago. Get a life, lads. C'mon, it's been a year and a half.

"Anita Sarkeesian must really be proud of her curly haired rat."
You're not exactly subtle calling a Jewish guy a "curly haired rat". Man, there's some lowlifes on this website. Wouldn't be surprised if you made that spam account and are just replying to yourself.
I wonder if they'll finally update Outer Wilds to 60fps on consoles with more people playing it now.
I think Outer Wilds was on GP before though so they still probably won't update it. Sigh.
I only bought 2 COD games after Ghosts (Black Ops 3, Modern Warfare) so I haven't played that much of the franchise in the last 8 years.
As much as I'm over the franchise, I do think this year will be a big year for them though. This one's Modern Warfare 2 (2022).
I don't have a huge problem with most of the picks, it's moreso the ordering that seems a bit strange.
@Army_of_Darkness
If you check my comment history, I've said many times that the US and UK games media is very biased in favour of Xbox. I'm just being honest. I don't own a Series X. No big exclusives on Xbox for a whole year was probably a bit boring and disheartening, especially after a generation without many of them. I was having a great time with my PS5, and I love the Dualsense.
I just thought that most of the AAA multiplats that releas...
@TheDoomedGuy
"only the same people that would die from the common cold and flu are dying from COVID"
Not true. Statistically, the flu doesn't kill millions of people worldwide in a year, and Covid did that in spite of masks, vaccines, people working from home, lockdowns, restrictions, etc. Use a bit of common sense, mate.
"The younger people dying have been a result of stupid treatments...such as hooking people up to ventilato...
The issue with Xbox is that it had no launch exclusives and nothing big until November while the PS5 had a lot of stuff from launch until Kena. It was a very long drought for Xbox.
The issue with the PS5 this year is that a lot of multiplat games released in the fall were really bad (e.g. BF 2042, GTA Definitive Edition), and Halo and Forza were good, so the lack of a big Sony game to end the year on was more noticeable than it would ever normally be.
BOTW aside, the overall list is quite bad. Almost no games from any region that's not Japan (I think 5/100). Every region has its own tastes - people tend not to watch foreign movies because they're not lip-synched to their language, Western gamers don't always appreciate JRPGs, etc, but even so, it's a bit extreme.
In Japan, a game being called "foreign" has traditionally been used as an insult so the results aren't that surprising, I suppose,...
I often disagree with Foxtrot but I'm fairly sure he dislikes BOTW because he prefers traditional Zelda games. It's not because he's a PS fanboy.
Indie games being exclusive or semi-exclusive can be so annoying. Solar Ash, Kena and Chicory: A Colourful Tale didn't go to Xbox but I'm fairly sure those are timed exclusives.
What really annoys me is when you don't know if something is just a timed exclusive or if they really have no intention to ever port it.
A PS4 version of Katana Zero was rated by the ESRB but it still never came out. Wtf?
I've heard great things about Chicory. Sadly, puzzle games rarely get the recognition that they deserve.
I disagree with the ordering of the overall list but the picks themselves and the top 3 are solid.
I think Fallout 3 had a memory leak issue on PS3. After about 3 hours in a session, the framerate would go to shit and the game would usually freeze.
You'd basically need to restart your PS3 before continuing to play or freezing was extremely likely.
Meanwhile, Rockstar seem adamant on never patching RDR2 to 60fps on consoles unless it involves shaking people for money like they're about to do with the re-release of GTA5.
I forgot to say, Yves Guillemot knew everything and seemed to love it back before his inner circle got in trouble.

"Said another now-former Ubisoft worker who was disappointed by directives from the company's Paris HQ: 'There's something about management and creative scraping by with the bare minimum that really turned me away.'"
This is how many people feel about modern Ubisoft. They make products moreso than games now, unfortunately. The only time they'll allow anything innovative is if in involves nickel and diming players (... NFTs).

Yep, it's mentioned in the article but I also remember reading about this and watching a similar comparison video between the original and updated textures around a year ago.

This was a great interview. It reminded me a bit of the Devs Play interviews that Double Fine used to do: https://youtu.be/DxUfaZuGQK...

This review is very negative but I did find and submitted a very positive review as well:

I had a bad feeling when there was no reviews at launch but is the 4-5 range really going to be this game's average score? I'd like to see what some other reviewers (Easy Allies, Eurogamer, Edge, GameSpot) think of it.
@forkymental
I said that based10mm was the spam account. As I said, it was made just an hour beforehand.
And why are you lying and saying that I blocked you? That's psychotic. I don't block people, so maybe I'm just not well versed in the art of blocking, but am I even able to block you? You've never even sent me a message.
Why tell such an obvious lie?
