The thing is, EA no longer have exclusive access to Star Wars (Ubisoft and Quantic Dream are making Star Wars games), and Respawn did a good job, so why not let them make more games, you know?
Fair play. Left, center, or right, all workers should understand that they have to band together to get a good wage. 90% of the time, politicians won't.
Not sure if you live in America but unions are in better shape where I live though (Ireland) where a quarter of all workers are in a union. I think it's only around 10% in America (used to be 20% in the 80s). I hope the percentage keeps increasing.

Love how this comment was somehow marked as inappropriate.
MS and Sony's acquisition approaches are obviously not the same, and this is a perfect example of that.
Simply pointing that fact out is not grounds for someone's comment to marked as inappropriate.
The lack of creativity really stuck out compared to other 1st party games like Horizon.
The start of the story (combined with flashbacks) is a zombie outbreak with Deacon protecting a blonde, injured loved one called Sarah, and her no longer being in his life destroys him from the inside out.

Eh. If you buy the games, you're still giving them the money either way, and I prefer playing games on console.
I'm not going to pretend I play Xbox's games on PC (I have been playing Infinite on my gaming laptop though, haha - temporary solution). And the prices of PC parts are ridiculous now anyway.
I've been intending to get a Series X when they come back in stoc...
"Tell that to families of kids whose parents can only afford one console. Sorry, bud. I know you want to play Spiderman, but you only have an Xbox and dad doesn't make enough to get you a Playstation. Exclusivity is dumb.
The industry should move to open hardware, and the big three should act simply as publishers who also offer hardware. They'll still move many consoles, as long as they offer something special with them. Whether that be through performance, or ...
What adjustments are you waiting for in Returnal? Just wondering because they already fixed the save issue and did some rebalancing.
Uncharted 1 was amazing when it came out though and got great reviews (88%). It's still a solid game, especially with the gunplay improvements that Bluepoint made. Uncharted 2 was just such a HUGE improvement, and one of the best games ever made. It's a Spider-Man 2 (2004) situation.
Days Gone is not Uncharted 1. Even the director has to admit that it's very flawed ... while adamantly defending it.
That being said, I take no issue with what he...

"Maybe if gamers didn't have the attention span of a small child."
Mate, you're the one who needs to pay attention. It's missing loads of modes (although they did add a few back in), no Forge, and barely has a progression system,
"No wonder games as a service is a thing."
You're actually defending a big issue with games as a service (less content for more money) and thinking you're cle...
I thought Camilla luddington's performance wasn't great, tbh. In real life, she sounds like an American doing a REALLY bad English accent (rather than the other way around) because she moved to America when she was young.
That also translates to the accent in the game. haha. It just didn't sound right at all and is obviously fake. The over-emphasis on certain words makes her sound ... at best strange, and at worst a bit dumb. The pronunciations are often wrong a...
@Sully_III
It got middling reviews because it came out 6 months after Red Dead Redemption 2, another game with a white male protagonist ... with an average score of 97% - it's close to being the highest rated game ever made (#7) .
If you're being objective, race wasn't the issue.
Plenty of actual flaws are listed in the reviews. Also remember that Mafia 3 has worse reviews than Days Gone despite a good story that's heavi...
If they used the Dualsense combined with PSVR it would almost be a sensory overload, haha.
Perhaps they could update it for PSVR2?
"The fight against racism" has become politically incorrect and offensive to some. lol.
No way people would even care 10 years ago.
You're right that this stuff has always been present in Miles Morales storylines.

"I wish they had like a "Plat" and a "Diamond" or something. 1 for playing through the game & doing most of the stuff in your average playthrough, and then one for the completionists."
That's actually a really good idea. I don't have too many plats either (I've platted 7 since they were introduced in 2008, lol) but I do like trophies.
I particularly hate when you do most of th...
Drawn to Death was a disaster and the previous TM wasn't amazing ... but I still think it would be worth getting his input.
I feel like the last Twisted Metal just didn't have a big enough budget.
Why does this comment have so many dislikes? The OP just said his death is sad and cited the cause, which is also in the article:
"He was hospitalised with COVID-19 on December 20 and, after fighting it for the past few weeks, passed away today."
The first reply is someone saying he would have died anyway because "No one dies of having cov only". C'mon, lads.
Claim: "No one dies of having cov only."
Reality: "A main feature of COVID-19 is lung inflammation and respiratory failure caused by an overexuberant immune response known as the cytokine storm"
He'd still be alive if he didn't get Covid. I don't know why people try to dismiss Covid deaths as if the person would have just died anyway. It's false, and disrespectful.
Yeah, even if most Ubisoft games were free, I'd play almost none of them. Life's too short, and time is more valuable than money.
Their most interesting upcoming games are just remakes of games from the early 2000s (Splinter Cell, Sands Of Time).
It's definitely not for me but if people want the service, fair enough. I think it's very strange that it's not on PlayStation considering EA Play was eventually allowed. Weird.
There is truth to what he is saying. Unions were demonised in the US by big money interests and the politicians serving them, and the presence of unions has been crippled compared to other first world countries over the last 50-60 years.
