It's a really good game but I hope that in Spiderman 2 you can hold onto the webs for as long as you want (more control), for webs to wrap around buildings and for you to gain more speed in swings after steep falls.
They REALLY nailed the sensation of swinging but they need to add a bit more depth next time around and have way more Taskmaster-style challenges that test your skills.
I'd like to see how much they can build up the trick system as we...
MW2's balancing was very questionable but it's probably the most fun COD. Esports really do take the fun out of everything.
DG hurt me about as much as a game can, Ricegum. I'm still recovering. You're not wrong though. I should just let it go. I wouldn't care so much if I didn't feel that I had been duped into buying the game. Quite a few people acted like it was some sort of misunderstood masterpiece which left me a bit bewildered when I got around to playing it. A lot of Days Gone fans would rather throw you in a gulag than tolerate critism towards the game.
I had enemies taki...
This game makes Days Gone look downright primitive. Wow. It is possible to innovate and do interesting things with a zombie game if that's what you set out to do (TLOU2 looks amazing as well). The main character could do with a slight increase in speed but the movement system looks great.
I suppose it was his first shot at it and an open world revolving around stealth is even harder to pull off. We'll see how it pans out.
RDR2 is easily one of the best games this generation. Realistic mechanics are not "fun" in and of themselves but the situations that they create are. They can also really ground your character and make you feel like your character actually exists in the world and that you're not just a God roaming around the map. RDR2's open world feels more alive than other game's as well.
RDR2 may be slow-paced but it's deliberate. That's something that a lot...
It depends. Regardless of nostalgia, there are trends in media. One disheartening trend is that between Ubisoft, Activision and EA (the big 3 third party publishers), the last high profile new single player IP that they could muster up was Watch_Dogs back in 2014. For Activision it was probably Singularity. They publish far less games and rely on a smaller pool of "games as a service" titles.
There is objectively less innovation in the AAA space than there was 10 ...
It looks very bland while also looking decent. Typical Crystal Dynamics.
The deluxe version has everything. No worries.
Is PS4 the only platform that this isn't coming out for? That really sucks. A lot of great indie games this year like Ape Out, Katana Zero, Outer Wilds and My Friend Pedro didn't come out on it. Why?
It will polarize users but probably not critics.
True. Getting DMC5 is insane. This announcement reminded me that they really need to put Ape Out on XB1 and PS4 though. :(

Not a great sign but at least there doesn't seem to be any loot boxes. Slow clap.
"Stop blaming drug cartels. Find the assholes who actually pay for these drugs and have a conversation with them. Stop hating drug cartels for being drug cartels." - yomfweeee, genius
Days Gone's gameplay is laughable compared to MGS5.
At least for multiplayer FPS games, it did the same for me. I've moved away from them a lot in the last few years, especially with franchises that I used to love like COD and Battlefield devolving so much.
F**k no.
They're definitely worse which is tough to pull off.
This is a really damn good month and we haven't had a bad one in a while. I'm interested to see what Darksiders 3 is like given its mixed reception. I was really interested in it when it came out but I was distracted by other things.
