Basically, if a game has a great story, then all if its gameplay achievements will be discarded by morons.
Purchasing cosmetics outright would still be allowed. If the only way you can make money is through questionable practices, perhaps you're doing something wrong.
Europeans pay €70 (about $80) for new games and Europe makes up a huge part of the games market. The average American only has half a grand in spare cash at any one time and $100 games would price millions out of purchasing games at launch. Games sell way more now as well which you don't seem to be taking into account.
Switch gets more third party support - third party games get more representation in sales charts. That's what's happened here. It's not that hard to understand, man.
EA's current gen library is shite compared to last gen. They take no chances (way less no IP, more conservative in terms of what they will publish) and barely ever make anything interesting anymore.
"Don't confront me with the idiocy of my voting record or I will scream."
The teams that focused on the story, cutscenes, etc are not the same as those that worked on the open world and the core gameplay, so no. Your comment doesn't make any sense.
The Mafia games weren't really known for having the best gameplay out there. Mafia 2 was a slog at times. You spent most of that game using pistols and dying if you crashed into anything. The open world was pretty but it didn't exactly feel alive - if you went on a rampage, the civilians wo...
Explain how he's wrong.
Well, your suspicions are unfounded. He mentions how long he had the game in the summary. "I don’t know if this sequel was necessary, but it was a serviceable three day distraction."
There's no point being cynical for the sake of being cynical.
Human Revolution has been in the bargain bin for years on Steam. The sales in the first few months are the ones that matter most when it comes to revenue. I assume it overall still made the most money on Steam but I'd be interested in seeing how it sold on PS3, 360 and ... I suppose the Wii U as well.
It was obvious that Anthem was going to suck. Many people called it once we saw a few minutes of gameplay footage.
Well, a kid's ability to buy skins in a free-to-play game like Fortnite could be class issue. We're not kids so we don't really get what it's like to grow up being bombarded with all these micro-transactions from an early age. Many kids woud probably find it hard to jusitify paying $20 for "skins" to their parents. A bit of empathy would go a long way, man.
Uncharted 1 was definitely a better game than Days Gone relative to the timeframe it was released in.
As do people from most other big gaming territories.
It's interesting that Anthem seems to be doing a lot better on XB1 than on PS4 (proportionally). It really does show the power of marketing deals. It couldn't even scratch the Top 10 on PS4 and lost to Jump Force. Most people figured out that it sucked pretty quickly and stayed away it seems but not without it selling a ton of copies initially.
This makes me feel that we're never getting PS3 backwards compatability since Sony is just going to want to sweep all these issues under the rug as best they can. Sigh.
Fortnite's gameplay is not anywhere near as good as Apex's.
Not surprised that a comment this dumb was written by a commenter with an image of Rees-Mogg as his avatar.
Hell yeah.
Don't do it. Treat yourself and buy something good.
