The awards are given based on 80 outlets and I believe the audience controls 10% of each vote (tiebreaker vote). https://thegameawards.com/v...
Keighley can't save DS if it happens not to win anything. If Death Stranding does take home some awards though, you're best spamming 0s on Metacritic to vent your frustration. lol
Corporate apologist spotted.
Glad I stayed away as well and waited to see how the game would actually turn out. Activision's games are usually a scam a month or so after launch so I'm not surprised.
Hopefully this comes to other consoles as well. It's become a disappointing trend lately not to release indie games on XB1 and PS4, particularly for Devolver Digital. Maybe next gen platforms might change indie devs minds (influx of sales to limited selection of games on release).
RE6 is fun but it's a bad RE game - for the most part anyway. It goes in so many different directions that it occasionally stumbles into being a decent RE game as well. haha. It's worth picking up for the Mercenaries Mode alone though if you're wondering if you should play it.
Hopefully not. The price of games in most regions have increased every generation. Most game journalists are so lazy that they'll confidently say that the price of games haven't gone up for a long time and that this is why micro-transactions are necessary. They couldn't be arsed to literally just look the prices on the EU PS Store.
I think they need to create a location that's more akin to Rapture than Columbia without copying it too much. Rapture had more of an emphasis on horror and messing with the players head. The enemies were demented and left a very strong impression, at least on me anyway. Anyone remember this scene?

The Order 1886 and Days Gone are not worthy of the top 10, let alone above genuinely great games like God Of War, Horizon, Bloodborne and R&C. There's also loads of better PS3 exclusives like Resistance 3, Infamous 2, Killzone 3, God Of War 3, Journey, etc. All I can [respectfully] say to your list is, "WTF?"
@prankster101
Does anyone remember wonderfulmonkeyman? He was a big fan of that kind of those kinds of excuses. Nothing wrong with being a fan but ... he took a bit too far.
I think that they'd probably have to do some fairly drastic downgrades. Some engines don't scale well for weaker platforms but it might be possible.
I have tenosynovitis in my left hand so the Dualshock 4 analogue sticks are painful to use for my left thumb.
You can actually get convex PS3-style sticks from a site called Battle Beaver Customs. I live in Ireland though so the shipping cost was terrible. The base of the standard Dualshock 3 sticks are too thick to put in a Dualshock 4 without losing some of the range of motion, unfortunately
The people in this comment section need to chill out a bit. There's no harm in someone giving their take on an older game.
Yeah, there's so many Souls and Souls-type games on PS4 already with Elden Ring and Nioh 2 on the horizon.
Since the release of Dark Souls 2, there has been no year that hasn't had a prominent or multiple prominent Souls-type games.
We're not exactly an underserved audience. A Demon Souls remake is kind of overdoing it a bit. I'm more interested in Bluepoint's other projects.
The joke has gotten a bit old, to be fair
The Steam Controller, AKA, Gabe's "Final Solution" for gamepads.
This is a classsic example of not knowing your audience. Unsurprisingly, console gamers don't sit around agonizing over the fact that a mouse is more accurate than a thumbstick.
Their attempt to "fix" gamepads for an audience that loves gamepads was tone-deaf and unnecessary - it's one of the main reasons why the Steam Machine bombed.
I doubt it.
@Kyizen
PS Plus existed for years as a service just for monthly games, discounts and cloud saves. If you think that the people that bought into the service (like me) can't have that expectation anymore just because PS Plus was made mandatory for online play, then you're a corporate bell-end.
PS Plus hasn't had a month with bad or uninteresting games for a good while now. Games With Gold, on the other hand, has been going downhill because of Games Pass. Hopefully, PS Now doesn't cause the same thing to happen to PS Plus. December is usually the worst PS Plus month of the year as well. TF2 has been on sale a lot though so I wouldn't blame anyone for thinking that this month is a bit "meh".
I already have Titanfall 2 but it being free is goin...
You'd have to pay me to use this controller. A friend of my got one years ago and it's like a PC fanboy tried to "fix" a traditional gamepad. The end result is an unholy abomination.
Activision is publisher of GOTY. Holy shit.
