The PS4 home screen is displayed prominently in the picture as well ....
Don't shoot the messenger.
I hated that Second Son made scaling buildings so automatic. inFamous 1 + 2 were so good.
I expected Days Gone to be pretty good before I played it. In the end, it definitely earned its critical reception. Everyone that I've talked to in real life wasn't particularly impressed by it either but I suppose N4G has always been a haven for delusional fanboys. You'd be hard-pressed to find a high-profile singleplayer game as generic and plain as Days Gone. I doubt you could name any.
Thankfully, Sony's next 3 big games (Death Stranding, The Last Of Us...
Do you disagree with the main point of the article or perhaps agree with it somewhat? I think a possible Days Gone 2 would be a much more refined game than its predecessor if it followed the advice in this article. If you cut a lot of the fat off of Days Gone (particularly in the first act of the game), it would be so much better.
Killzone 2 and FEAR have great AI. Lots of flanking. In FEAR, the AI is very dynamic and the enemies actually coordinate with each other. They're very aggressive as well. What's sad is that the AI was designed by 1 guy but most AAA games today can't match the AI in a game from 2006. Seriously, play FEAR. Most of the Halo games have good AI as well.
You're free to like the game. I was just poking fun because a lot Days Gone fans have a hard time accepting criticism of the game and tend to freak out. :)
For example, you keep insinuating that anyone who dislikes this game simply didn't play it, over and over again. You'll find that the opposite is true. It's very telling that no one ever actually tackles criticism of the game itself and instead just go after the reviewers. I'm a hardcore PlayStation f...
It's so bad that it can't be docked. So now if someone finds that they want to use their Switch Lite docked, they can't just purchase a Switch Lite dock. No. They have go and buy a full-priced Switch instead. Nintendo really do love nickel and diming their consumers to death.
“If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it." - Joseph Goebbels, a lover of the polarizing videogame, Days Gone
Microtransactions incoming
Furi is so f**king good. I really hope a sequel is in the works.

And everyone certainly has the right to mock him for saying that Control "better be" sold at at half price. By his logic, Spiderman should have been less than half the price of Red Dead Redemption 2 but he definitely wouldn't agree to that. Hence, it's a childish comment.
For many people, a high quality 15-20 hour game is more desirable than a long RPG. Scale often comes at a cost as well. More focused games usually have tighter ga...
If you're the kind of person that clears off a map in games as you go along, Spiderman definitely gets repetitive at times. It tends to introduce and fill up the map with new types of side missions in bulk. It takes a while before there's a healthy balance between different type of side activities.
The random events in the game like chasing a car are REALLY repetitive. Not sure how they could fix that issue though. They tried to vary encounters by adding challenges ...
Get this kid a copy of Dreams and lets see what he can do.
And Super Mario Maker 2 can only dream of itself being as good as LBP's successor.
Horizon: Zero Dawn, God Of War, Spiderman, Uncharted 4, Bloodborne and Ratchet & Clank are all way better than Days Gone (7/10). It's not even close.
Still, it's Bend's first AAA game. They definitely need to switch to one of the in-house engines though. They played things very safe with their first game so I would like to see them work on a new IP and make something a bit more creative.
Nice. The changes in Season 2 are exactly what this game needs.
At the end of the day, Trump's trade war is not going to benefit the American economy or have a net positive result. It's nothing but political posturing.
The left are the ones that want to tax the rich and Wall Street to implement medicare for all, to eradicate student loans and make public universities tuition-free which would cause a huge boom in the economy, to increase the minimum wage, to introduce campaign finance reform so that politicians cannot be lobbied ...
So, are you saying that this gaming article covering a real topic shouldn't exist or what?
I'm pretty sure that he meant to say game publishers
