Just like free to play games, only a small percentage of people actually buy these goddam things but that's all you need to make a shit load of money. It's not just a vocal few who dislike them. Publishers have just made a calculation that most people won't dislike micro-transactions enough not to buy their games, especially if they can normalize them.
It's your second sentence that probably garnered so many dislikes. Most of them are likely coming from disgruntled Days Gone fans - they've been pretty insistent that DG is GOTY lately.
Obviously, that's not true when great games like Sekiro, Resident Evil 2, DMCV and Metro Exodus exist.
The fact that Republicans use words like "witch" to attack their opponents is very telling. Can't you come up with something with a bit more substance?
Republicans are low information voters.
@Highlife
Well, she made a sound argument and Trump made a dumb one so you can't really say that 343_Guilty_Spark has no argument. Trump's statement was foolish and he says racist crap all the time, so people are going to jeer him and his supporters over it.
He started his campaign by calling Mexican immigrant rapists and murderers, despite the fact that they commit less crime on average than the rest of the population. Sorry, but that lie is ob...
Nice attempt at deflection, guys. Using the fact that someone is from San Francisco as an insult and then pushing a dumb theory without any evidence is just pathetic.
"You do know that the NRA is funded by everyday Americans republican and Democrat and that they are minuscule as far as campaign contributions go. Politicians that “appease the NRA” are actually appearing their constituents."
90%+ of Americans want universal background checks and t...
Republicans in a nutshell.
You kind of need to look into these things beyond a corporation's PR spin. Once the Youtuber made this event public, 2K tried to take down his Youtube channel in retaliation which is more than a bit dodgy. The information that he "leaked" was spread by other channels like Inside Gaming first.
You know, sometimes people say things that are just so dumb that there's really no point in mocking them because they've already put a spotlight on their own stupidity. This is one of those moments, Spicyram.
This article almost felt like damage control on the part of the games industry. "But some players love loot boxes!"
If Epic Games are responsible for this, they should tell everyone. It's been a while since they last got some good PR.
Stupid is an understatement. Jesus Christ.
What's disrespectful is trying to cover up the truth and gaslighting people.
Trump called Mexican immigrants murderers and rapists, despite the fact that they commit less crime on average than the rest of the population. Why? Because he wants to instill a fear of the Other and dogwhistle.
Trump told brown American congresswomen to go back to their own countries, even though most of them were born in America. Why? Easy opportunity to dogwhistle.
A ton of people are going to get introduced to Wipeout because of this. Just over 600,000 players have played the Omega Collection.

Aren't you just as bad as them if not worse? The game is far more likely to be at least good than an "esoteric flop". C'mon now.
Take some notes, Far Cry 5.
Yah
MGS3 is way better than MGS2, especially Subsistence. Far better gameplay, story and characters. The last 2 or so hours of MGS2 are amazing though.
The PS2 had a much better variety of AAA and AA games than we see today. It's actually kinda sad.
Where is your proof that they bring down the price of entry? They are just an additional revenue stream for a franchise that sells a minimum of 20m-25m copies per entry with budgets smaller than the average Marvel movie. With or without micro-transactions, these games are extremely profitable.
