Cyberpunk 2077 isn't coming out until April and TLOU2 is coming out in May. That's quarter 2.

Eh, not really. It's about as "stacked" as March was this year where DMC5, Sekiro and The Division 2 (not my kind of game but a big title) were released. Barely anyone is going to have the equipment required to play Half Life as well.

@Gahl1k
The game looks great to me (souls-lite combat, force powers, Prince Of Persia-esque wallrunning, platforming, puzzles, strong focus on story, etc). I'd just rather play it once the technical issues are sorted.

I prefer games with a short to moderate length anyway although my understanding is that this game is anywhere from 18 to 30 hours long which isn't short. Quality >>>>>>> Filler

This is why I never buy games at launch anymore. Within a month, this game will be a cheaper, better product.

The Far Cry 2 formula would definitely benefit from some of Far Cry 3's quality of life improvements though. There are many aspects of that game that aren't particularly fun and waste your time without really adding much to the experience (at least for me) even though there are great things in FC2 that they franchise doesn't bother with anymore.

FC2 has some of the kind of mechanics that you would see in Death Stranding that are designed to stress you out and p...

This list has a pretty huge omission. The most important part of the Spiderman games is the web slinging. Spiderman 2 would be so much better with:

- The ability to hold onto webs as long as you want to offer more control and better physics.
- More momentum and height when you swing out of a dive.
- Loop-de-loops
- Webs physically existing in the environment and wrapping around the sides of buildings (shortening or snapping).
- The abilit...

When I read the title of this article, "Greed!" was as loud in my head as a thought can be.

Is the small draw distance for NPCs and enemies intentional? If not ... Jesus.

Good. F*** micro-transactions in console games and the idiots that buy them.

He said, "Im watching it on mixer ..." 60% greater chance that he's an Xbox fanboy based on that fact alone.

P.S. I have no problem with fans, just fanboys.

Smokehouse is disappointed. Let's pray that micro-transactions return to NFS for his sake

Amen, Foxtrot. They're ruining the games industry. Imagine if they actually spend that micro-transaction money on new games or something worthwhile.

F****ing morons.

NFS's wasn't always just a street racing game though. Hot Pursuit last gen was fantastic and that was arguably a perfect return to the pre-street racing era of NFS. The identity isn't the only issue. It's not THAT hard to appeal to different types of NFS fans. Basically bring back Burnout-style NFS games as a Criterion sub-franchise and just make the NFS games Underground-era games.

The biggest problem is that Ghost's NFS games so far just weren't t...

I don't even have an XB1 but I'm not a mindless cheerleader. I can see the forest for the trees and I can recognize that Games Pass is obviously a better service. Your comment is just really childish and dismissive. For example, it's pretty obvious to me that PS Plus has been offering WAY better games in the last year than GFG. I'm very happy with Nioh and Outlast 2. But I can see when things are the other way around as well.

"You can't just say it...

Did they ever fix the framerate on the base PS4? It's on offer right now but I'd like to know what I'm getting into. If the framerate is around as good as Fallout 3 on PS3, I'll bite.

Criticism of PS Now is generally not well received on N4G but it has gotten a lot better in the last year since they added game downloads and more AAA PS4 games.

I do think that unless the service has games on Day 1 (which would result in less sales), then it's always going to be an interior service to Games Pass. If it has games Day 1, it would be the better service by default since it also has streaming.

Kind of a shame that this won't be included in the Metacritic aggregate since people only seem to care about that score.

2384d ago 6 agree1 disagreeView comment

The game has an 85 on Metacritic and people are talking about the game as if it's the Hindenburg. So much fake internet drama.
