I can really relate to this. I have chronic tendonitis in my both of my hands (started in late 2010 and didn't get treated because my former GP misdiagnosed me) and I almost gave up on games this gen despite being a programmer.
The first time I held a PS4 controller was really depressing because my thumbs just can't tolerate the ridges but I have no problem with convex sticks. In 2017, I got some custom PS3-style thumbsticks for my PS4 controller that made the contr...
There isn't really any problem with citing those random stats. The problem is when the stats are released by themselves and sales are not discussed.
How many copies did X game sell? Who knows but what I can tell you is that 67 million cars have flipped over in Forza. Amazing
Maybe in the far future but very unlikely, tbh. From my knowledge of deepfakes, this technology could not realistically be used in real-time in a game. Deepfakes are extremely taxing when the software is the only major task running on a powerful computer. Training the algorithm with references can take days and even weeks (tens of thousands of iterations - I suppose you could do some of this step in advance) and then you have to let it render the scene which will also take a while.

EA Black Box started to screw up as much as Ghost Games and they had a long downward trajectory spanning from 2006 to 2011: Carbon, ProStreet, Undercover (this is when things really went downhill), The Run.
That's only a small handful of people from the full team
Yes. This is a wise move on EA's part. There was barely an ounce of fun in Ghost Games' NFS games (terrible handling, insane rubberbanding in NFS 2015, etc). Hot Pursuit was incredible and Most Wanted 2012 probably shouldn't have been called MW but it was a ton of fun. Hopefully, we'll get a Burnout game as well.
A lot of respect for having a game like Thumper at the top of the list.
Finally. Now, bring on Ape Out and Katana Zero, Devolver Digital.
It would be nice to see Bayonetta also return to other platforms where most of the fans of the franchise actually are. Obviously, there's now a big chunk of fans on Nintendo platforms as well but the original was a bigger hit than Bayonetta 2. It's very unlikely though, unfortunately.
What's with the disagrees?
Tapping X to Sprint is part of the charm of their games, just like holding A to run in Gears Of War. It's more fun. Otherwise, you're just boringly clicking down on the stick which can also be a pain in a long play session.
I'm pretty sure you can change the controls anyway, at least you can in first person.
It actually is nonsense though. Cliff is bullshitting harder than Hillary Clinton when asked why she lost in 2016. It's revisionist history and he's pushing the blame away from himself onto others because the failure of Lawbreakers and Radical Heights (2 games in a row which makes up a large part of his legacy) hurts his ego. Nobody said that the game was "woke" or "SJW" when it came out and there's no explicitly woke content in the game.

He is right that BF5's main problem was it's gameplay. Most of the maps were much smaller in scale and there was much less destructibility. It felt more like Call Of Duty than Battlefield without nailing what made either of those franchises fun. I agree that I'd prefer if BF5 was more historically accurate but none of this will be a problem when they return to a modern setting so the main concern should be the gameplay.
Sony have the publishing rights.
I want a well implemented Hard difficulty level. For me, it would be a bit of a waste if the game was too easy after all these years of development. Spiderman PS4's hard difficulty was a joke whereas God Of War nailed it. I'm a huge inFamous fan (1 + 2) so I'm glad that this game is finally coming out though.
EA and 2K have created a monopoly by buying up the licensing rights so it's perfectly fine to blame them since they're limiting competition.
The rich get richer and the poor get poorer, unfortunately. We all know that Rockstar doesn't need this tax relief. Imagine if that money was given to smaller studios and indie teams. Or, perhaps this money could have gone to services like the NHS.
As someone who has chronic tendonitis in both of my hands, I hope that the resistance can be disabled though. Don't get me wrong, I think that it will be a fun feature but it will put more strain on my hands and I likely won't be able to play as much. I just hope they'll be mindful.
Alright, psychopath.
Do you play a lot of remasters to catch up on what you missed from previous gens?
