They were? Where?

Best is subjective. Technically, it was not. The PS3 was the stronger system.

Well, during the last gen, it was obvious that's what they favored. Times have surely changed thanks to the PS4's ease of development and Sony's market position, but to act like it was never truthful means you either weren't paying attention or refused to accept it.

They aren't the same, though, because PC hardware can be pushed much, MUCH further. The Pro and X are devices with fixed hardware, hardware that is already miles behind the best of PC.

Furthermore, if more powerful PC hardware is ever taken advantage of, especially exclusively, you'll see the platform rise head-and-shoulders above anything you can get on consoles.

With as many Indie horror titles that we have on PC, genuinely scary ones, no, not even close.

When it's from someone with a known history, it feels as genuine as a tale of fiction.

OT: Really good reviews coming in so far! Not only does it look/play good, this will be, hands down, the highest selling driving/racing game of the year!

Yup! You'd see some pretty ridiculous looking games if we had more exclusives for it, too!

Considering they gave Forza 6 a 9.5/10, there's no way you could realistically expect a 6/10 from them. Also, Gamecritics just gave it a 6/10, too. Expected as well?

Says a lot about your allegiances when this is what you have to revert to. Why not just judge the game on its own merits (or, in this case, faults)? This isn't about Gran Turismo, it's about Forza 7.

Eh, I can see the Switch winning in the US and Japan, but I don't think that'll be enough to offset the monstrous victory the PS4 will see in EU (remember, GT is HUGE over there). Beyond that, I consider the Switch Nintendo's follow-up console to the 8th gen Wii U. So, in that sense, it's competing with itself.

If the Pro sees a price cut, that will without question. Right now, with hype back the X1X, it's got a pretty good chance of just etching out a victory.

Japanese titles, for the most part, skip Xbox this gen. Financially, it makes sense.

@ moldy: No, the same CANNOT be said of the PS4 nor the Switch. You left the door wide open, here. Both of those machines comfortably outsell the Xbox One. Hint: Something releases for them often - it's called an exclusive (that people actually buy those consoles for).

Just because you'll find a way to "avoid" buying them, doesn't mean that it is a universal viewpoint.

Just a reminder that you can't take some people serious.

OT: Well, I'm not jealous of those games, given the majority can also be played on PC. A better title would have been:"Six Titles That Are Great For Xbox/PC Owners". But, I get it, need the clicks.

Very well said. For me, he's been nothing but talk. Call me nuts, but I preferred Mattrick. He at least brought games to the table and made me actually WANT an Xbox.

That said, I agree that there is more to success than market-share, it just feels like empty words coming from a guy who's sentiments flip flop like tossed burgers in a McD's.

If the best you have to go on are UK sales (totally ignoring and/or not providing the whole picture from the rest of the world), then you need to strengthen your research. Never mind that these are VGC estimates.

The PS3 was well worth the $600 price tag at launch. Was no console like it. However, as history will tell, it meant very little in the long run. The system didn't become a hit until it was more affordable and offered a robust, exclusive line-up. The Xbox One X isn't going to totally fail, but outside of "core" gamers like you or I, it won't appeal to a wide audience.

Nothing lazy, nor cheap, about the Pro. But then, you'd have to own one to really know that and I suspect you do not.

OT: Looking forward to seeing how it fairs. My One S had an annoying buzzing sound in idle, so if the X is as quiet as they say, that's another check mark you can add to the machine!

The Xbox One X won't do anything for Forza 7. In fact, it's supposed to be the game that sells the system, not the other way around.
