"Decent". Yeah, if you tell yourself that enough...
Best looking game PERIOD! Looked like Live Action at times!
Damn, damn damn! Looks incredible!
Agreed - and to think, I just had someone actually try and tell me that the game is "barely possible" on PC. It's laughable, but shows a clear lack of knowledge here.
What this game is doing is far beyond when any other has done. It makes sense that it's been in development for as long as it has (and it currently looks/feels great at that)!
Never get tired of hearing about/playing this game as it unfolds in development! CIG are really a talented bunch!
Well, guess what? It isn't owned by EA, Microsoft, nor Sony. So all of that is irrelevant.
If you take issue with the game's development (which, by the way, hasn't even been going as long as other successful projects), then send an email to the team. For the rest of us that have actually been following the game since it was first introduced (and have played it through the different stages), I'll continue to wait patiently as they continue with their craft. ...
I know what the word "barely" means, pal. You made a claim that you can't back up. It's "barely" possible on PC? How? Like I noted, it's running it. It's clear that you aren't in the Alpha, or you wouldn't have said that. And regarding "development issues" - show me where the draw distance is suffering because of (or is the cause of) that.
And finally, a word of advice - you should be careful when claiming someone doesn&...
It's not "barely possible" when it's actually running it. Besides, the development issues have little to do with how far out the world expands and much more to do with slight mismanagement.
That draw distance instantly reminds me that this is only possible on PC!
One thing I love about this company - their hardware is ALWAYS accompanied by great, and plenty of, exclusive software! Drop those announcements, Sony!
Not really. Just shutting down your inaccurate notions. :P
What exactly would be PC people be threatened about? They get to play all of the Xbox One's "exclusives", and at higher frame-rates/resolutions. Help me understand what the threat is?
Unless the Xbox One X can keep up with two Titan Xp's, the i9-7920X (12-core proc @ 4.4GHz), and 64GB of DDR4 RAM @ 2400MHz, then yes, it DOES mop the floor with it!
Heck, the machine I had just before this one (last month) mopped the floor with it...
- One Titan X (Pascal)
- i7 5960X (8-core proc @ 3.5GHz)
- 32GB of DDR4 RAM @ 2133MHz
In neither case are the X1X's specs even close. None of this is really a big...
Nail. On. The. Head. Add Nintendo, as well!
And the X1X will be just as easy to find. $500 this far into the generation? It won't have any serious shortage issue. An outlet, here or there, with shortages? Probably, but that's nothing new for any new hardware launch.
I could say the same about my PC that mops the floor with the X1X. Thankfully, the two can co-exist, so I won't take as strict a stance as yours.
PS3's physical advantage over the 360 WASN'T debatable. Stronger hardware is stronger hardware.
Yup. One of the reasons you have to appreciate, not just new and more powerful hardware, but the minds that are going to take advantage of said hardware. As it stands, Sony leads the way in the visual department on consoles (and quite handily). Plus, that's a bonus, as most of their games are crazy amounts of fun to play!
