What was new and "great news for gamers"? He didn't say anything Earth shattering. He simply spoke positive for his company, which is expected. He told us that he expects the Xbox One X to add to their revenue. HOW is another matter. That's not bad news, by any means, but new IPs and exclusive games would be far better news for gamers.
I don't get why people refuse to accept this. Nothing in the space of console vs PC has changed. A more powerful PC will always beat out consoles, including the Xbox One X.
That considered, I'd really like to see what the X could do with an exclusive. A true exclusive (not something it shares with PC). I mean a game that will take full advantage of the available specifications inside the case. I'm excited for the X and have the Scorpio Edition pre-ordered, but t...
Another excellent review!
Time for a reality check - YOU have been telling people how they should act/think in regards to this game. On top of that, you can't take the slightest bit of criticism, as evidenced by your continued need to get aggressive.
I'll call it what ever I want to call it. Don't like that? Too bad.
Calling people "idiots" won't strengthen your flimsy argument. It just confirms, at least for me, that no one should waste their time discussing anything further with you.
@Goldby: Yeah, the few previews I've read, plus this review, all gave it praise. They say there are a few rough edges, but interaction isn't one of them.
Why would I "trust you" over the people who actually played it and enjoyed it?
OT: Like what I'm hearing and I remained sold on it! Quick little adventure to bang through with friends on a weekend! For $20, can't go wrong with that!
@ yeah: In terms of UK sales, GT5 is the peak.
This is the ultimate bottom line. It's Gran Turismo. It was always going to clean house in regards to sales. It's lower than GT5 (the pinnacle of the series), but still above other GT titles in the series (one of which is one of the highest selling - GT1). And this is just one territory, on its first week (GT is a franchise known for long legs).
Yeah, this was a pretty easy win for GT: Sport. But then, I'm not surprised, I was one of the few that called this outcome.
@ G-haul: Really? I've seen sporadic examples of this. Never mind if you even know if they are "Sony fans" or not.
Not really anything to accept and there isn't anything new about this article (or type of article). It's merely one dev saying they won't aim for parity. That's how I'd prefer it and how it should have been from the beginning, with the PS4 being the more powerful system.
For this dev, surely. Who said every dev would adhere to the higher install base?
Why you got disagrees for that is beyond me, but it is, literally, the exact same thing.
It's a current gen, iterative console. Nothing more. When the PS5 rolls out, you aren't going to see Microsoft put out a marginally more powerful One X. Count on that. They, too, will "jump in" to next gen, no matter how much they claim otherwise.
Of course it isn't. Tried telling people that. Their highest profit margins rest with systems that will sell a game like Ni No Kuni 2. Xbox isn't on the playing field this gen.
"Well he likes to use different parameters whenever it suits him"
That's golden coming from you.
OT: The article isn't necessarily "garbage", but it certainly has a few holes in it.
It's fake, bro. Doesn't matter what kind of support Bandai Namco may have given Xbox. Games get mislabeled all the time. Bloodborne was once "coming to Xbox" at one point. Mishaps happen.
Except that there's isn't any announcement and the one site that seems to claim it'll be available digitally is a source hardly anyone has heard of. So no.
They'll have X1X enhancements. They didn't say anything about avoiding parity. Those enhancements could, very much, mirror what the Pro's are.
That said, I look forward to CoD, at least, since I'm getting it on both PC and the X1X (friends here).
