Well, there are a few things wrong. First, the site itself gives me errors when trying to read the article. Second, the Xbox One X is $499, not $599.
While I agree that there is a lack of new and exclusive software on the horizon, you should always make sure you get the price of the device right when talking about "concerns".
@Doggy: Totally irrelevant to my point.
As for you comment feed, VideoGameLab, I've seen enough of it. You don't say this in every VGC article.
Except, you can't prove that it's made up at all. And no, you don't say that in every VGC article.
Cool. Let's also be sure to mention their reliability the next time they post an article that favors Xbox.
The difference? GT actually sells to the PlayStation fanbase. Xbox gamers obviously don't care much for Motorsport anymore. No amount of, "but GT", will change that.
No matter how "off" VGC may be, it wouldn't be this bad. It's time to face that the game just didn't perform well. But, I get it. MANY of Motorsport's fans have moved on to the Horizon series and haven't looked back. This is coupled with most Xbox franchises being in decline this gen, and thus, here we are.
Ignore him, people. He does this in nearly every topic he posts in.
OT: Can't wait for Days Gone! Glad to see these guys movin' BACK up!
It won't. It'll be developed with the Xbox One in mind. The X and PC, especially, will receive additonal bells and whistles.
Works for me either way.
Showe me one PlayStation fan wishing for this. Just be happy you're getting a new game at all. PlayStation gamers are used to it.
Right.
Based on nothing but nonsense. None of Cage's games have been failures, so no.
OT: Looking forward to this!
Somehow, I doubt you even own a PS4. As much nonsense as you talk.
I never new grief meant being acoompanied by more games. If I were those PS4 fans, I'd continue to "grieve".
Uh, no.
99% of PCs (which is a gross exaggeration as is) don't have to run it in 4K. Watch the video very closely. PC wins in more areas than resolution. Shadow Quality, for example, has absolutely nothing to do with 4K resolution, and it is miles ahead of the consoles. This is, in fact, where I think those devices should take a page from that book. Opt for better details/effects over resolution.
Good on both consoles to still have such impressive showings, nonetheless. I never...
@ Aenea: I agree. They should opt for better effects and graphical details over res. Once you play on PC more frequently, you really get the best sense of this. In some games, it's night and day.
Good for Xbox One X owners who want the best possible resolutions, but given the choice, I'd take graphical details any day. It's why I game in 1440p/144Hz/HDR on PC over 4K/60Hz.
I watched the entire video. He said playing on a 1080p screen has a less soft reproduction than on a 4K screen. Playing in 1440p would yield a better looking game than 1080p (which is the highest res the Pro hits).
He didn't "recommend" playing the Pro version on a 1080p screen, however.
I agree that those zoomed pics don't really do a good job of displaying massive differences, but let me be the first to tell you that 4K is miles ahead of 1440p. The X has the clear advantage in that regard (when it hits that res in the game, that is).
The bigger thing, for me, is how far behind the PC both consoles are. Especially regarding AO and Shadow Quality. Just another reminder to those who thought they'd see a changing tide that PC will remain ahead.
Of course, PC takes this one with ease! Playing it there now and I've not seen a better looking game.....period!
Which translates to $471.45 usd. Beyond that...
"At $599, it’s the most expensive video game console on the market"
That makes it sound universal, not just one territory (and a NA territory at that, where the majority of places have it priced at $499). Thus, without a specification that it's talking Canada only, my point remains.
