No there aren't any cases where the Xbox One X beats a maxed PC title, and if there are, show me the Digital Foundry articles confirming that. Show me the games that detail can be pushed further on Xbox One X over PC (again, with DF).

Preferring to buy the X over what, exactly? The PS4, PS4 Pro, Switch, and Xbox One S all sold better on Friday and Saturday (and will continue to right through Cyber Monday). Thus, if the comparison is acknowledged, a little perspective is needed...
I wouldn't say it lacks the games to be worthwhile, just that it lacks a compelling enough exclusive library to really be anything but a 4K multiplatfoprm machine (which a strong enough PC can do and then some).
"Worthwhile" is a subtective term, however.
And that's all there ever is to discuss about this console. Power. While everyone else buys PS4s, Switches, and X1S's as holiday presents. Seems that "temperature" will stay high for a very select few people.
