God knows how I will fit in time for Elden Ring, Horizon and Gran Turismo. I forsee many a late night ahead, best rest up over January.
I managed to snag a physical copy but it won't be manufactured for a while yet, so I a busting to play the game, to the point that I considered buying the digital version to play now.
"Why anybody watches these is beyond me. It just ruins the fun when they point out every little flaw and comparison."
It's fuel for those who still partake in the console wars squire. I guess I have similar feelings to you, the moment you have to zoom in to pick out minor differences, or use software to count frames etc., then the comparison is rendered moot.
I played loads of games on PS3 which were purported to be weaker versions of games...
Not to pour water on this, but the TM filing means absolutely nothing. They forgot to renew their original registration so needed to file a new application, its nothing more than portfolio management.
I would love to see a sequel as I purchased it day one and felt pretty good about the purchase on the way to earning my platinum, but this story doesn't make that any more likely.
Because its a stereotype, that's why it's 'bad all of a sudden', it's not a difficult concept.
I appreciate the point you are trying to make, but Halo Infinite is absolutely nowhere near the quality of Breath of the Wild in respect of open world design or exploration.
Yup, a bit long but I have to say, they got the cadence just right in my opinion, I can't say I was ever bored and there were so many trailers and reveals to keep me interested throughout. I thought it was really decent this year.
It's a shame that so many sit on the side lines and snipe and the Game Awards and Jeff Keighley but considering he doesn't have the financial backing that likes of the Oscars has, I think he deserves a lot of credit for getting these ...
If you want to question the pacing and duration of the show, that's one thing, but how you can suggest the game announcements and reveals we're lacklustre is beyond me. There was so much great stuff show and some great surprises.
It has never tried to position itself as a E3 competitor, its a game awards shoe, there is no trade show element at all.
I am gutted thus isn't a single player game because that trailer really did show just how good Rocksteady are.
Hope they improve on the gameplay of the first game which I personally felt was the only weak area of the first game.
In respect of production values the first game was really impressive and the more you see of the sequel the more incredible it looks, a real step up from the last game.
I'd take a new Project Gotham Racing over Forza personally, PFR3 on 360 remains one of my fave racing games.
In respect of sim racers though, I think that GT has the edge over Forza in respect of physics and depth, but I always felt that Forza does a better job in respect of AI. I alway get a good race in Forza whereas I find the AI in GT is either too easy or ridiculously good and I spent so much time tweaking settings to get a good racing experience.
Couldn't have put it any better. Millions upon millions of people have cherished childhood memories as a result of this man's creativity.
You could have just left a respectful comment, is this really the article to moan about your nonsense perceptions?
It's such a shame that Ubisoft are so shamelessly greedy as I personally really enjoy a lot of their games but there are making it more and more difficult to overlook their bullshit.
Dunno what to tell you squire, I can literally pick one up from Amazon or a number of other games retailers right now. They are freely available here.
It is so disingenuous to suggest Xbox is outselling PS5. The only reason they have competed is because there are plenty of Series S on the shelves gathering dust and were being sold at a discounted price.
I know because it took 3 weeks of concerted effort recently to buy a Series X, I could have bought a Series S at any point (and still could). This is all about availability and the real story is, why were so many Series S available.
Its like those knobh...
Yeah, those Spyro remakes were fabulous, so much fun to plat too.
I don't see it as an 'either, or' problem. Demons Souls Remake was utterly incredible, Final Fantasy 7 remake was fantastic as was Shafow of the Colossus and Resi 2, but these remakes haven't led to a shortage of new games. Returnal, Ratchet & Clank, Forza Horizon 5, Gears of War 5, Halo Infinite, Deathloop, Death Stranding....the list is endless.
And I see that kind of statement in gaming chatrooms/forms regularly. If you can't see that that is a really bad thing for the industry then I don't know what to say to you.
