Exactly, I am pleased to see Bloodborne made it so far into the competition, it would be my personal pick, buy I cannot fault anyone or opting for GoW, its an incredible game.
Really disingenuous to describe the combat as a 'spamfest', the combat was so well tuned in opinion and unless you got proficient with parrying and using the correct weapons for the right enemies you would die very quickly.
On the more difficult settings you really were forced to utilise all of the skills and move sets.
Absolutely, the second game really is a fantastic piece of entertainment.
Yup, The Artful Escape was simply fantastic!!
I loved the Evil Within games personally and I'd give a shout out to Shadow of the Damned if you want a good game for Halloween.
Perfect Gamespass fodder I suppose, personally, I am more impressed to see games like The Artful Escape or Sable.
Have to say, I always thought the visuals in the Halo games were pretty average from a technical standpoint and it was the art style that stood out more.
Hmmm, Rift Apart cropped up in this conversation and I am pretty sure it launched more than a week ago 🙄
Also, kind of late to worry now, that horse has well and truly bolted.
There is simply no getting around the fact that MS seem to have a horrible time of managing their studios. I can't help but think that if they hadn't been working on Perfect Dark and had instead been working on a new IP, the game would have gone the same way as Scalebound.
Have you played Bayonetta or Beyonetta II?
They may not be graphically impressive from a technical standpoint, but the great art style goes a long way and along with stellar gameplay, the games are fantastic. I assume you are a fan of Bayonetta if you are in a forum discussing Bayonetta 3 (rather that some nipple-head who just turned up to dogpile on Nintendo), how can you say you would prefer that Bayonetta didn't exist?
Each to their own dude, I am glad you get so much enjoyment out of your Switch, it is a fantastic piece of kit for sure.
I personally think it shines in respect of indie and JRPG games and really cannot understand why someone would play an inferior version of a game such as Alan Wake or Crysis Remastered.
I am not sure what folks were expecting in respect of graphical fidelity, it is Switch game after all.
I agree it really is showing the limitations of the system however, I replayed Bayonetta 2 on Switch fairly recently and in play, the graphics were okay. I think that's what I expect with the third title, something that maybe looks a smidge better that Bayonetta 2. As long as it has the gameplay and creativity of the previous game I will be happy enough, I thought ...
Yup, they are losing so much money with their consoles, the Switch is barely selling!!! /S
If you just park your personal dislike of Nintendo for a moment, are you honestly suggesting that Nintendo are going to stop making consoles even though they have sold more Switch consoles than Microsoft's last 4 consoles combined (XB1, XB1X and Series X/S)? Its not as if MS will catch up either, the Switch is still outselling the Series X/S.
Dont get me wrong,...
I know what you mean Sciurus, one can imagine what a graphical and technical showpiece this game would be on the new consoles, especially with how creative you could get with the style of the game.
But I suppose, as others have pointed out, Bayonetta would not exist if it wasn't for Nintendo, they were the only ones willing to take the risk and foot the bill for this series, so I suppose if its a choice of no Beyonetta or a graphically underwhelming Beyonetta, I would...
Busting to play it, but I'll be waiting for the physical release later in the year. Hope the game does well fir the studio and it's talented staff.
I am hot and cold on this release. I earned the plat first time around and the idea of more is quite tempting as I loved the gameplay loop, especially once I had my ziplines just right. However, starting over is kinda putting me off I think.
If I didn't have such a crazy backlog I wouldn't hesitate, I loved the game personally.
Yup, I only buy digital when there is no option personally. I realise that mean less and less these days as so many games requiring so much patching anyway, but I love my collection.
@JackBNimble, took a look at your comments history, you seem to be something of an Xbox apologist yourself squire 😆
I really need to get back to this game, I got to the 3rd world a few times and then got distracted with something else. What I have played of it was excellent though.
Why the hell anyone listens to the nipplehead is beyond me.
