I understand the point you are making squire, but I think the majority of console gamers use the PS5 because they want to avoid messing with settings and tweaking options. I dont think the majority of console gamers are at the same 'enthusiast' level that you seem to be at mate.

I can play on PC if I choose to squire, but regardless, the fact that this game is coming to PS5 down the line is the worst kept secret in gaming.
I played the original game on PC back in the day and really enjoyed it and I am hopeful that this sequel is even better.
I would say though, that I am struggling to appreciate the comments about the visuals being amazing because from what I have seen, they appear quite dated. No to be a doubting Thomas too, but IGN hyped they crap out of Senua II, just sayin'.

The talking point that I feel is completely ignored by 'journalists' is that it will mostly be current owners of PS5 who are buying the Pro, rather than consumers who are new to Playstation.

Same here, no shortage of great games to play this year. I think my personal fave was Stellar Blade which I am saving a second play through of for when my PS5 Pro arrives. I think Astrobot was incredible as was Helldivers 2
I am excited to start on Granblue Fantasy tonight and I am hopeful I enjoy it as much as the reviews suggest I should and once that's done, it'll be onto Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth for me.
I have started the first game several times and end up quitting as it scares the shit out of me. I love the Alien universe and can play any other horror game you care to mention, but there is something about AI that freaks me out!

I'd have been in on day 1 had it had the disk drive but an additional 100+ quid on top of an already expensive console is just too much for my conscious to bear.
As a PS fan I am gutted to be fair, but I have around 400 physical games on my PS4 and PS5 and the disk drive is a deal breaker for me.
I agree Thornstein, I think Ubisoft deserve criticism in various respects, but to take a snippet from a leaked internal communication and suggest they are blaming the gamer is really poor 'journalism'.
You could see this as actually a positive thing, after launching so many titles in a poor state, Ubisoft have at last learned that gamers expect a higher quality and more polished product.

Yeah, I agree dude. I am sure there will be some cool references to the OG ghost in this sequel, you could imagine weapon or armour sets worn by Jin to be found. It would be really satisfying to find some lore or history regarding Jin in jus game.

Can't wait to replay this game, TLoU is probably my fave IP (its a toss up between TLoU, Bloodborne or Bioshock) . My disk drive was dispatched today too, so my anticipation for a new big boy toy has gone into overdrive 😊
