Seems like a decent enough month to me, I bought TrackMania when it released and had a great time with it.
The problem with this argument is that MS are not delivering ANY games, multiplayer or otherwise (outside of Forza which is seeing diminishing returns each year). It's just more utter bullshit from MS that the faithful wolf down but anyone with any common sense can see right through.

Making a valid observation that is factually correct is how you avoid looking like a fanboy. Your assersion is completely unfounded.
I think it's completely disingenuous to suggest you can divorce the mid gen consoles from the base models when discussing their potential.
The fact is, the Pro and the 1X will sell to existing fans for the most part. Existing Xbox fans will buy the XB1X so it doesn't really matter how successful it is as it is not growing MS's market share anyway.
The game looks incredible and I prefer to support Nintendo and pay for the game when I get my Switch in a few months time (I want to wait for a slightly bigger library before I buy).

Sunset Overdrive is fantastic for the first 10 hours or so but it quickly got repetitive, I found I was performing the same 4 or 5 missions over and over again. It's a solid game but not an essential game you should be 'jealous' of.
To my mind, he should have reported to the authorities and made a formal complaint. Making such serious allegations on social media completely undermines the legitimacy of his claims in my opinion.
Gambling is fairly well regulated in the UK and rightly so. The fact is, there are some very dodgy practices going on in the video game industry and the line between gambling and video game rewards are blurring more and more. The fact that so many titles now allow a gamer to pay cash and not get a guaranteed prize out of it seems awfully close to gambling to me.
You surely cannot expect the companies to regulate this behaviour and they certainly won't listen to custo...
A somewhat disingenuous title in my opinion as it suggests the PS3 was deficient in someway. Of course a title will look better at a higher resolution, it goes without saying that a 10+ year old title looks better on modern hardware!
The fact that they run like shit on the emulator is more noteworthy in my opinion......and making a Souls game run worse than they did on PS3 takes some doing! 😁
You get what you deserve in my opinion, it's no coincidence that the two manufacturers who have supported the industry most by way of their investment in exciting new games are the ones reaping the rewards.
What an incredible year for video games, another fantastic title from Nintendo. To be honest, the scores have never been in doubt in my opinion, every time they show it, it Looks absolutely stellar.
The game looks tremendous and I love all of the PR stuff coming out of Bethesda for it, I particularly liked the Panzerhund trailer.
This advertising is tonally the same as the other stuff that has been released, if people are able to spot parallels between the game and the current political climate in the US I cannot say I am surprised.

From reading this, I personally would not interpret this as an indication of how long the PS4 will be Sony's mainline console before the PS5 is released. This is more of a statement about how long the PS4 will sell around the world rather than when the PS5 might launch, the PS2 was still sold for many years after PS3 was released for example.
I am happy there are so many distractions to take my attention away from Mario, I need all the help I can get to avoid buying a Switch!
When have Sony ever stated they want the PS4 to have a longer life than the PS3? I haven't seen any statements to that effect and most industry figures acknowledge that last gen went on for too long.
Yeah, heck of a game. I loved the Bullfrog stuff on my Amiga, Powermonger in particular but Populous2 and Syndicate were spectacular too.
I am not in any desperate rush, I am really enjoying my games on PS4Pro at the moment.
Having said that, I would love to see Sony tease something at PSX, just to muddy the waters as MS launch the XB1X. It would really change the narrative if XB1X launches and then Sony tease something for December 2018.....its unlikely but it sure would be funny.
More realistically, I think a reveal at PAX, TGS or PSX in 2018 with a launch late 2019 would be reasonable....
God I loved my C64 as a kid. Raid over Moscow, Beachead, Blue Max, Airborne Ranger and Knights of the Sky (and anything else from Microprose for that matter) were just so fantastic. The only system I have fonder memories of is the Commodore Amiga....the greatest games machine ever made in my opinion.
Not an Xbox user myself, but I think the console looks really nice, fantastic size for what it has crammed inside it too.
