This is the kind of nonsense PC elitists like to state as fact when, in reality, most gamers are happy to see all kinds of genres on their console. PUBG isn't some high brow, deep, complicated game, it's an online shooter and will be just as popular on console as anywhere else.
I am as sick and tired of MS's lies as the next guy but I am pretty sure they have Cuphead sewn up.......unfortunately.
Seriously, thisgengaming is an absolute joke of a site, utterly pathetic, nothing but poorly written flamebait articles.
I think MS know that for the most part, this console will sell to existing Xbox owners and they are hoping this will tempt enough of them into making the switch.
I can't help but think that early access really damages a games chances. When I first saw this I was really keen to play it, then it releases in early access and within a few weeks any hype or buzz surrounding the title has passed and it's just another old game that I am never going g to pay full price for. It's even more of a problem when the game launches in early access and seems mediocre, which is bound to happen if an incomplete game is released.
It's common sense pal, the cumulative effect of a couple of exclusives a month and the guarantee of more to come when combined with 3rd party support is the winning formula.
Sony are reaping the rewards of consistently releasing exclusives over many generations, gamers remember Sony's track record for releasing amazing titles you couldn't play anywhere else as well as all the 3rd party support. Both MS and Nintendo only have one piece of that puzzle in place an...
You are completely missing the point. It's a cumulative effect, there is no such thing as a system seller in my opinion, that is nothing more than a marketing expression to promote the HALO's, Gears, Mario's and Gran Turismo's of the world.
The fact is, for most gamers, a consoles library reaches a tipping point where it becomes impossible to ignore because there are several titles that make the purchase of that console worthwhile. Nobody was going to bu...
👏👏👏 absolutely spot on squire. The thing is, you only have to look at their corporate practices in other markets to see how they would treat the gaming community.
I feel that the game has always looked distinctly average and that the market is flooded with this kind of title.
In respect of CliffyB's personality, i think it's fair to say he is his own worst enemy, he talked a lot of shit about Playstation and Playstation gamers as well as talking shit about other devs over the years and as a result, he is remembered by many for being an abrasive loudmouth rather than for his games.
Agreed, I don't think anyone is claiming it was a masterpiece but, for a relatively early title on PS4 it was a pretty decent game. It had its problems but the cool universe, story and characters more than made up for some of its gameplay shortcomings.
Personally, i never regretted buying it, i played through it twice to earn the Platinum and was more than happy with my purchase. I was certainly left wanting a sequel so that must be a good sign that I enjoyed it.
Best thing about opinions is that you can have your own. I never, ever, pay attention to other people whether they are reviewers or people in a comments section and that's why I bought the likes of The Order, Thief, Drive Club and Assassins Creed Unity and really enjoyed each of them a great deal.
Absolutely the biggest recommendation I can make is to ignore people on N4G comments sections as there are sadly very few who you can have a sensible conversation with, they ...
Blimey, people really will moan about anything!
I can honestly say that I have never, not once, felt that a game I was playing on my PS4 was lacking because the rumble wasn't right.....ridiculous!
Getting pretty fed up this kind of stupid article, nothing about cool features or what's new, all we hear about is resolution and frame rates.......its utter bollocks!
XBOX users need to ask themselves 'did knowing a slightly better looking version of game A was on PS4 stop them enjoying that game when they played it on their system of choice?'
Are slightly mad studios suggesting I switch over to Xbox because the other versions are shit? If ...
I really enjoyed Assassin's Creed Unity however, it seemed to garner a lot of negativity. Given MS had a similar deal for that game it's surprising they wanted to get involved with assassin's creed this time around.
I love to hear all the PR bullshit around these deals when we all know it come down to money being thrown around.
Coming from someone with your user name....a bit rich really!
I can only feel sorry for someone who cannot enjoy Nintendo games, you really are missing out!
A real shame there is so little buzz around this title, it's flipping excellent and I cannot praise the controls enough, I would never have expected a game like this to play so well on a controller.
This is the quandary I found myself in, but then E3 came along and now I just cannot wait to play Mario, so I will view Mario v Rabbids as Zelda as extra justification 😁
The thing for me is, the price on hardware and software doesn't drop for donkeys with Nintendo so there is less reason to wait for the library to grow, I will just pick the titles up as the release every few months.
I am so excited to play this game, i aim to get my Switch in October for Mario and will be picking up Zelda too...cannot wait!
It's been tough not buying it for my WiiU but I need to justify purchasing the SWITCH so I have to wait. I am currently playing through Wind Waker HD and will play Skyward Sword HD next, getting my Zelda fix for now :)
This kind of bullshit from MS is so counter productive because all it does is demonstrate their complete lack of respect for gamers. They think they can lie to our face and we beleive it when infact, most people see right through it and all it does is foster resentment and negativity toward MS.
